Taqueria y tienda "El Patron"

Tacos were excellent. We got rained out of our hike and decided to visit the various taquerias in the Dade City and Zephyrhills area. So we went around and ordered one chicken and one carnitas at each place. El Patron had the best tacos of the 4 places we tried. Tender carne and excellent tortillas.

I tried three different beef filled tacos, one was better than the next.... Coupled with a delicious nut bar for dessert and jarritos soda my lunch with my colleague was delightful

The absolute best tacos I've ever had. Stopped there on our way home from Orlando and I will now be making a trip back from Spring Hill to Dade City just for these tacos! And the staff was so friendly, really treated us like old friends.

Best carne asada taco I’ve ever had in my life. Authentic Mexican grocery and taquería I stumbled upon while taking a Sunday drive, I had to turn around to check it out.

I've been driving by this restaurant for over a year meaning to stop in. I finally made the time to do so yesterday and was quite pleased.It's the type of restaurant you'd expect to find in small local town with the owner greeting you and asking what he can get for you.Not much to look at, but like I said it's a local place like you might find in a Mexican village. Good food!I told him I needed to get something to eat and drink. The menu was hand written and without my glasses hard to read so he went through the menu until I stopped him at burritos.Make this short, I think his mother was cooking and she made me a wonderful beef, bean, rice burrito that you only get from a traditional Mexican mother that's doing the cooking.
