$35 ribeye the ribeye was so thin and tasted like NOTHING. Mashed potatoes and “veggies” tasted like hospital food and that’s being nice. Server was amazing the guy with the light eyes and brown hair. The woman manager amazing, friendly and understanding the man manager no personality and not customer service oriented at all. They gave us clam chowder to wait for the over cooked rib eye to come back and it was literally water and potatoes. Hold your hunger, save your money and go to Flanigans.

Worst experience of my life—hands down.

We were visiting from Ohio with my in-laws, excited for what was supposed to be a nice meal together. Instead, it turned into something I’m still embarrassed to talk about.

Our waitress came to the table twice. That was it. Both times, she was crass, impatient, and openly rude, like we were an inconvenience for simply being there. Our drinks were never refilled. No check-ins. Nothing. Eventually, we had to walk to the bar just to ask for our bill.

Then came the moment that made everything worse.

While finishing a dozen oysters we had already eaten, we noticed something unidentified crawling inside the shell. A second later, I was in the bathroom vomiting.

As I came out, shaken and mortified, the waitress approached me—screaming that it was “just a crab,” loudly enough for others to hear. She continued to insult us, openly mocking the situation and telling anyone nearby like it was a joke.

I’ve never felt so humiliated in a public place.

As we pushed our way out, the manager casually offered for us to “come back for lunch.” We politely declined. There is no scenario where we would ever return.

What should have been a memorable family meal turned into an absolutely awful, embarrassing experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

Extremely disappointing experience. We were seated and then completely ignored for over 15 minutes: no waiter, no greeting, no explanation. Multiple staff members passed by, clearly aware we were there.

What made this especially troubling was that it felt like we were intentionally not served because we had children with us. Other tables appeared to be attended to while we were left waiting. Whether intentional or not, that is how it came across, and it’s unacceptable.

If this was a mistake, it was never corrected. If it was a choice, it’s even worse. Either way, the lack of service and professionalism was inexcusable. We left feeling disrespected and unwelcome and will not be returning.
