First let me say,this place has changed and not for the better. Food looks horrible,the Mac is so dry and oily. The service from the little Latin girl, horrible, no expression or no Personality and service so slow. Ladies night but no ladies only a few people in the place. Don't know how he keeps his doors open ,this place is empty so how long do they use food they can't sell with no one there. Don't waste your time this place is a dump

This was my favorite spot to go but something is going on I normally go for lunch but the other day I went and the food looks like they just threw it on the plate it looks like dog food. My girl ordered a pork sandwich the bun was so soggy like they dipped my bread in juice the Mac and cheese isn't the same so disappointing that was my favorite and then to top it off the server said they my got pizza ??????? Wth is going on I went there for bbq not pizza joe what is going on?? Not my favorite lunch spot anymore Sorry but I think I'll find another bbq place . Don't waste your time going there anyone the food definitely have changed for the worst

Pleasantly surprised. I drive past this place all the time and decided to drop in because I was craving comfort food. There is plenty of outdoor seating and the inside is like a sports bar with a lodge feel. There were a few couples already seated and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.
While I originally stopped in for smoked meats, I opted for the grilled salmon. I had a flight the next day and I figured it would be lighter on the stomach to where I could finish it and not have an abundance of leftovers. I ordered Mac n cheese and greens for the side. The owner (woman owned) did let me know that it would take a bit for the salmon since it’s made to order so I sat at the bar and ordered a tequila lemonade.
The cocktail was a little too sugary (due to the brand of lemonade - the ‘juice’ kind, less of fresh lemonade) but it was on the house so I was grateful. I received my to go order about 20 min later with an additional side of black beans and rice as well as corn bread. Again I’m grateful because the owner was being generous knowing it was my first time.
I wish the salmon would’ve been smoked instead of grilled. It was ok but something I could’ve made at home, the caveat being that I left with 2 decent portions instead of one. All of the sides were so delicious! It really surprised me. The black beans were tasty and the greens had the perfect texture, the Mac was creamy and flavorful, the cornbread was sweet and moist. I was able to finish the leftovers the next day before my flight so nothing was wasted.
I will definitely return to try their smoked meats but overall this is a great place for good food and to grab a beer

Brisket was well seasoned but was very tough and chewy. The Mac & cheese tasted nasty. It had no seasoning and it tasted like mayonnaise. The collar greens were ok but i could taste the water it was cooked in.

We ate there few days ago, the meat was cooked to perfection, we tried the brisket, the pulled pork and the sausage. The brisket was one of the best I have ever had, super tender! The prices are awesome too, beer for 3 $? Unbeatable.

I have been a customer in the past, and I like the food, but I would never enter your restaurant again. To have signs for Trump at your business shows a lack of respect for half your customers. Trump is a criminal, tried to overthrow the government, stole classified documents that were probably sold to Russia, and is a serial r*pist. This is getting all over Facebook now. This is a huge mistake Joes.
Trump signs at your business. Insulting to your employees who would be screwed by a Trump win and to the majority of us who still have control of our brains. Stupid move to alienate half the population, some that did enjoy coming to your place. Never again. And that’s not just me. Not your smartest business move.

I stopped here after a sunny day at the beach nearby. The pulled pork was delicious and flavorful and the Mac and cheese super cheesy and creamy. Worth it, great deal for the price.
