Excellent Jerk chicken and pork, oxtail soooo tender and falling off the bone. Friendly little Jamaican place with big servings and big smiles! I get takeout from here at least once a week. Can't wait to try the goat curry!

An amazing and pleasant time. The food was delicious and well worth the price and they were telling us that they’re bringing in new options! Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Wow!! Leroy is the man. Got the lunch special. Three pieces of jerk chicken, plantains, beans and rice, coleslaw. Chicken was so tender and tasty just fell off the bone. The oxtail gravy was incredible! All for $7.00; you can't beat that.Cute outdoor seating area if you don't want to take the food to go. My only suggestion, change the credit card payment so you can add a tip. Fortunately I had cash.

This place is fantastic. They gave me an extra piece of fried chicken for my birthday. Can't wait to get more food from them

We really enjoyed our food. The brisket was PERFECT, the pulled pork was fantastic, and the hot sausage was great (but maybe a little more spice woulda been better). We only got one side, the mac and cheese, and I’m glad we got two of them because we had enough to bring back to our AirBnB to enjoy the next morning. This isn’t any plain mac and cheese, this was both creamy and stringy, meaning different types of cheese and lots of flavors and textures. And the portion size was huge! Our experience was made even better by our server, Terry. Until near the end of our meal, we had all assumed he was the owner by the way he took such pride in the excellence of the restaurant and by the way he made very sure we were very satisfied with everything. He was a friendly guy to talk to and we’re glad we met him. Located just a few steps from the corner of Federal Highway (Route 1) and Sheridan Street in Dania Beach, this place is convenient on your way to or from a lot of destinations. Plenty of parking in their lot out back. Our party was visiting from New Jersey and Indiana, but our son lives just down the street, and now he knows where he can get great BBQ in his new adopted hometown. You’ll be glad you took my advice to try this place out. Nothing fancy, just great food and great service in a friendly atmosphere.

We had heard a few good things about this place, but nothing could surprise us more as we had the best ribs at either myself or my wife ever tried, and the brisket was excellent also extremely tender and very juicy the way brisket is supposed to be. The ribs were in a class all by themselves, if you like, smoky flavored meat, get the ribs!!!

Parke in back with stacks of wood for the bbq. Hard to find entrance but did! Ate early dinner at 4 No one there but found guy who took my order of ribs, brisket and dark meat chicken with collard greens Wonder if there was really food but it came out in five minutes I was shocked how tender and delicious everything was. two sauces, one regular and one yellow that was great! Meats were soft and delicious. Will positively go back.

Pulled pork was tasty, BBQ chicken breast was moist and fresh. Mac and Cheese was excellent and fries were fresh and crispy.

Full disclosure: my husband does competitive grilling and smoking, and we are BBQ snobs. We were excited by the look of this place expecting it to be excellent based on the reviews, and we were disappointed. First, we noticed that the smoker in the back was just being turned on, which means anything we were about to eat was at least a day old. The place looked like it needs a good scrubbing. The server was friendly and the food came out really quickly (again, a sign of reheated food). The presentation of the food was lackluster. The portions were decent sized. We ordered the brisket and chicken platter with collards and the brisket platter with Mac n cheese. The server swore the Mac n cheese was the creamiest and best I could ever eat. Nope, it was creamy cut it had no flavor at all. I had to ask for salt just to give it some flavor. The brisket was tender, but had no flavor either. The chicken had sections that were charred and was over smoked giving it a burnt taste. Only positive about this place was that it was cheap to eat here.

Both sauces are sweet and very good in their own way. Mostly we were impressed by the quality and taste of the meat. So many BBQ places figure the sauce will carry the meal without rubs or seasoning. Joe's meat tasted great with or without sauce. I tried brisket, ribs and sausage.

We went to Joe’s Grill this afternoon for the first time. We like trying new barbecue and search them out for tasting. The first positive we saw was the wood pile along side the smokers. It’s always good to know they smoke their meat on sight. Between my wife and me, we tried the ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and chicken. All were outstanding. I usually have trouble finding good brisket, but this was the best I’ve had. We talked to Terry, who told us they smoke the brisket for 16 hrs. It was great. The young man (can’t remember his name) who served us was truly polite and most helpful. Although we live about 40 miles away, we’ll definitely go back. I have to add that this establishment, including restrooms, was very clean.
