Solid place for home fried fish and things. It's a greasy-floor hole in the wall but the food never fails. Service was prompt but not friendly. For samples, I never heard a "thank you" from any of the stuff. What you see is what you get.

Very good seafood. We had the fried shrimp and the fried clam bellies (which I love - and are hard to find in the south). It's a bit noisy so make certain your order is clearly understood. Special kudos for making sweet tea for us after advising they were out.

Went to Tarks for the first and definitely for the last time.We ordered oysters - my friend tried the very first one and he got a huge piece of shell stuck in his jaw - and the bad part is that the shell was under the meat itself. The silverware were dirty, no napkins, the kitchen is such a mess and so dirty, that there is a urgent need of the Health Department of food and restaurant business to stop by and check their compliance. We ordered fish and fries, the way it was served was to cry. They placed the fork on the dirty plate, then threw on all the curly fries, and then the piece of "so called grilled fish" which in fact was almost raw.... Unfortunately I did not enjoy, for the pricing they charge and location they should try better and definitely should clean the place throughly before someone gets any food infections due to anti sanitary

The only thing I could smell was human fesses. No food smell, only poop. I was willing to overlook the unavoidable poop smell in the whole restaurant but the rude staff was the last straw.
