Last night was my first time in this place and I was delighted! Abba's service was incredible, everything he recommended to us was delicious! I will definitely return!

Amazing experience, great service and one of the best Latin food experiences in a very nice clean and silent place. also have a great selection of tequilas at their bar. You must ask the bartender to surprise you! We went for a passion fruit margarita an old fashion and there were fantastic! Churros and tropical fruits sorbet after parrillada, guacamole and shrimp chicharrones…….

This experience! 😍 From the service (ask for MC), to the food - grilled octopus, Peruvian chicken, swordfish dip, sweet corn empanada (yes, you should) this smooth tequila (never heard of it, but then again I’m no connoisseur), flavorful beef anticucho, and the tres leches with flowers (moistening it/better when dipped). Skip the guacamole. You’re welcome!

A regular stop when in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Excellent food, top tier Tequila Library (they have a standard bar area as well) and great service. Recommended for after work meet-ups, date night or if you're lucky to catch a tequila tasting. Trust your bartender!
The Pura Vida and Crispy Brussel Sprouts, sin queso for a light vegan option. The grilled avocado is a must.

This was our first time trying out Toro. We dined in for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! The food was flavorful and nicely displayed. The drinks were 10/10 and our server Aba was phenomenal/super knowledgeable. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice date night spot. The portions were a good size too. Would definitely recommend the shrimp appetizer and lomo.

Beautiful restaurant with the only tequila bar without preservatives & oh they have all the tequila you could ever imagine! The bartender for the tequila room is incredibly knowledgeable and can make you anything you are in the mood for. Inside the main restaurant it was bright and inviting. We had the steak, rice, beans, and plantains - it was very good but some things had a bit more flavoring than I am use to…

The manager was very nice but make sure not to send back your salmon if you don’t like it 😆🤦🏼‍♀️ one of the girls we were with did not care for the flavoring and felt it was a bit fishy so she asked for the steak instead, as the server was bringing it to the back the manager grabbed it from him and we could see them arguing right behind the table then the manager stomped away returning with a steak on a searing hot plate. When he dropped it off he made sure to make the comment that “there was nothing wrong with the salmon I just ate yours and it was delicious” 😳😅 he basically told our friend her taste buds sucked and she was wrong. We were all flabbergasted and just gave eachother a look as he walked away because we come from the restaurant industry and she actually owns 2 restaurants. He clearly never learned that is NOT how you speak to customers. Thankfully we couldn’t care less and just laughed it off.

We still had a wonderful time and dinner.

Bar tender was offering his own branded tequila which at the end charged me $20 shots, when he kept saying was on him. It it wasn’t I wouldn’t ordered it. I am from Mexico know about tequila more than he does. Young, arrogant kept pushing his new tequila brand to all plus was loaded. He even told a customer a bottle tequila a day was just like wine. A joke. & as he said “wason him his 3 shots” he charged me $20 shot. Shame night. I didn’t complained because just wantedto leave. This was sat 28 & no wonder he had 6 customers. Worse experience ever. Duffys has better service. I live raise in Guadalajara he did not fool me

Every dish was made to absolute perfection! For comparison a few weeks back we went to Hells kitchen and the food at TORO is a lot better. The service is good, but not five star good. The drinks are well crafted and do not disappoint. The music and atmosphere are the cherry on top, great music at the perfect volume that allows you to enjoy both the music and a conversation. I will definitely be back, very soon!

This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I'm not sure if the other reviews are fake, but we tried four dishes, and all of them were terrible.

The tuna tacos, for instance, came with canned tuna instead of fresh, and they were inedibly spicy—likely to mask the poor quality of the tuna. The dish that's supposed to be like "bang bang shrimp" was made with mysterious pieces of shrimp, not whole shrimp as you'd expect. The octopus had a decent texture but lacked any char or seasoning, making it bland and unappealing.

To top it off, the prices are exorbitant, and they add a mandatory "service fee" even for a party of two, which is a big red flag in my opinion

ALSO $10 to park in an empty parking lot on a dead street on top of your inflated pricing for food - are you out of your mind??

Avoid this place at all costs.
