Noise level was too loud due to party in the library that made it sound like a club throughout the restaurant. One of the sides was served long before the entrees which was odd. Other than that the food was very good.
My experience at Toro was exceptionally exquisite. The ambiance and service was great and Mgr Danny made my date night a memorable one. Everyone was so friendly and provided the highest quality of service.
Great experience. Happy hour was reasonable, the margaritas were so good. The fish dip, rock shrimp and Brussels sprouts were a hit. The sizes were shareable. We will be back.
Very nice spot

The service was wonderful. The food was flavorful. The Tequila Library was peaceful with lovely decor. I wish that I could remember our server's name. He made a drink that was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our Anniversary Dinner. Thank you!
Little loud but that's what you get when you go where people like to hang out. Was just there for dinner to grab a bite before I call it off. Had a beer and the wagu burger. Everything was good. Staff is friendly and attentive. They have a good selection of steaks. Although I did not try it, the plates flying out looked good. Cost me about 75-80$ CAD for two beers and the burger.

We were very disappointed with this restaurant and were expecting much more. The hostess looked like she did not know what was doing and came to ask our name under booking after we sat down. The cocktail which I ordered straight up rocks on the side was served warm. I think there was a language barrier with all the staff. The dining room looks feels and sounds like you are in a cafeteria. The furniture its layout and flooring attribute to this as well as the loud echoing. Our server had far too many tables and food took way to long to come out...menu was lacking and food was just passable and expensive. First and last time for us.
We did the tequila pairing dinner. It was and outstanding experience! It was very educational, learned a lot about addictive free tequilas. The food was delicious the chef explained every dish in detail. This was one of the best tasting experiences I've been to. I would definitely recommend!
Toro in Dania Beach absolutely impressed me! The food not only tasted amazing but looked like artwork on the plate. Every dish came out beautifully presented — from the vibrant, fresh toppings to the creative plating with sauces and garnishes.
We tried a mix of dishes, including the grilled skewers, a perfectly seasoned steak dish with creamy risotto, and a flavorful chicken plate topped with fresh veggies and herbs. Everything was cooked spot on — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The portions were generous without being overwhelming, and the balance of flavors was just right.
Another highlight was their tequila flight tasting. They offer a great variety of tequilas across different types and price ranges, which makes it fun whether you’re new to tequila or already a fan. It was a nice touch that elevated the whole dining experience.
The atmosphere of the restaurant matches the food: stylish, modern, and lively, yet still comfortable for a dinner out. Service was great as well — attentive and friendly without feeling rushed.
Definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re in Dania Beach and looking for a memorable meal with both flavor and presentation that stand out. Highly recommend!

My friend suggested this restaurant. She has a great eye for good food. The food was delicious, and beautifully presented. The flavor profiles complimented each other. The service was excellent. The food and beverage manager Rich was knowledgeable and personable. My bar tender and server AB was helpful and great at her job. The food runners were well trained and polite. Overall I would recommend Toro Dania to anyone that likes good food and good service. Thank for that experience.

The restaurant is lovely, food delicious and service outstanding. Our server was Aba assisted by Stevens. We will return and bring friends.
This review is long overdue. I first visited Toro several years ago, likely right after it opened, and I had a great experience. We went in for a couple of cocktails and appetizers, and I remember the appetizers being so delicious and generously portioned that we were full without ever ordering entrées. The drinks were creative and equally delicious. The service back then was fantastic too. I’m not sure why I never returned. I think it’s because Toro is a bit off the beaten path and not close to where I usually go.
Fast forward to now, my friend and I decided to return. Toro is located inside a hotel and feels like a hidden gem. When we arrived, the lighting was dim and cozy, and the space felt intimate despite having two large parties of about 20 guests each dining at the same time. We were greeted by MC, who truly gave us the best service I’ve had in a long time. Even while assisting those two big groups, she was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. She even advised us to put our order in before the large parties so our food wouldn’t be delayed. That’s the kind of service that makes a lasting impression.
We started with the sweet corn empanadas, which come three to an order and are actually pretty large. We each had one and took the third home. They were perfectly crunchy, not greasy at all, and filled with manchego cheese and avocado purée, aji amarillo, served with a chimichurri sauce that tied everything together. Next, we had the ceviche amarillo, which MC recommended, and it was phenomenal. It featured hamachi, cucumber, red onion, and mango, and the balance of flavors was so refreshing and vibrant. It’s one of those dishes you keep thinking about after the fact.
For the entrées, I ordered the lomo saltado. It came with beef tenderloin, stir-fried peppers, red onion, tomato, creamy rice, cilantro, and crispy potato strings. I’ve had lomo saltado before but never with creamy rice, and let me tell you, it was absolutely incredible. The combination of flavors and textures was something I’ve never experienced before. I honestly think it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. My friend ended up eating off my plate because mine was better than hers. She ordered the zarandeado yellowtail snapper with adobo marinade, cabbage slaw, grilled avocado, radish, and charred lemon. It was beautifully presented and very fresh, but we both felt it lacked flavor. It was light and clean but not bold or spicy, which I usually prefer. If you like milder dishes, you’ll probably love it, but it just wasn’t for me.
Even though we were absolutely stuffed, dessert is always a must. We chose the churros, which came with cinnamon sugar, dulce de leche, and a small scoop of coconut gelato. The gelato was honestly the highlight. I would have eaten a whole bowl of it if I could. The churros themselves were fresh and crispy, not greasy, and the dulce de leche was rich and delicious even though I’m not usually a fan of it.
The cocktails were just as impressive as the food. We had four different specialty drinks, one of which was an espresso martini made with tequila. Each drink was smooth, well-balanced, and didn’t have the overpowering taste of tequila, thanks to the high-quality house tequila they use.
All in all, Toro completely blew me away. The food, the drinks, the service, the ambiance, everything was top tier. MC was a dream of a server, Richard went out of his way to make us feel welcome, Danny added such a unique personal touch with educating us on the different tequilas and of course, the chef for an unforgettable meal. Toro may be a little hidden, but it deserves to be packed every night. If you’re on the fence, let this be your sign to go. I’m already planning my next visit.
Thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable experience.

We went with a large group of 10 for a birthday celebration and thoroughly enjoyed the staff, atmosphere, service and cuisine! Hats off to Chef Sandoval! Since it was a large group, we were offers the “Family” style dining which I highly recommend. We enjoyed a scrumptious variety of appetizers and entrees from their menu! I would also have to say.. the cost for what we had, (the atmosphere, attention to our party , detail and taste of the food) was a bargain!!

Good food. NOT SO good service. Waited & waited Had to ask for refills. Was not told about substitute of potato's in place of yams. NO KIDS MENU. Very loud room.
Specialty drinks were weak, alcohol wise. The food was ok. Short rib appetizer was cool to the touch. The shrimp appetizer was good but missing the aioli. The guacamole came with like 8 chips and some plantains. Guacamole was average. Ribeye was supposed to be mid rare. Came out Rare. Hanger was supposed to be mid rare. Came out Rare/Raw. Steak in the Lomo was supposed to be mid rare. Came out medium. Overall this visit was not worth the $125 per person we spent. Will not be back and will not recommend.
