The Manager for tonight was real rude. I was doing door dash and the instructions said to pickup in drive thru. No one answer the intercom for 10 min and when I pulled up the manger looked and said CLOSED and looked away. With a skull cap on her head. An employee had to come give me the food. Poor management skills👎🏾
The worst drive thru in Davenport. 15 plus min to get my order that a ordered ahead of time. Food was cold by the time I got it in my hand smh.
Be ready to wait but it's worth the wait bc it's Popeyes!

Not the first time here but seems like it's always bad 😕! Times are long and service is slow waited 20 plus minutes for food! Could have when to a restaurant 🙄 but needed something quick and that wasn't the case! Waited at the windows for like 10 minutes and 10 ordering!sheesh

They just told us they had no chicken left at 10:25 pm. Owners should start looking into this lazy behavior. So many people out there that actually want to work.

Messed up the order of course. The use of kiosk is USELESS IF YOU HAVE TO PUT IN THE ORDER YOURSELF AND IT GOES BACK TO THE KITCHEN YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY NOT READING THE ORDER SO WHAT'S THE SENSE OF HAVING A KIOSK. waste of money.
They were taking forever. I had to leave their drive-thru line and go somewhere else. I don't blame the workers though, they were only two workers.
Prepaid mobile order scheduled for 11:30 PM pickup.
Arrived on time, but the restaurant could not fulfill the order due to unavailable items.
I agreed to wait, but the order was never completed.
Staff were unable to cancel or refund the order.
I left without receiving any food and have not been refunded.

Worst experience. Paid for a 10-piece family meal and received a shorted, partial order of old, dry chicken that tasted like it sat for 3 hours. The fries were cold and soggy, cheese pies were rock hard, and all the biscuits were smashed into the same box. Zero napkins or utensils, and the employee was rude when asked for honey. I had to go spend more money elsewhere just to feed my family. Tried calling the store but nobody answers the phone. Avoid this location and go to the Haines City one instead.

Came in and ordered through the app and made a mistake and placed at the wrong location. Patricia helped me out because the online said no. She was extremely polite with what I needed and made my order for me. Thank you so very much Patricia

HORRIBLE SERVICE
The manager working the night shift on 5/18/2026 around 8:52 PM seriously needs additional training in customer service, professionalism, empathy, and de-escalation.
I was in the drive-thru when the employee asked me to insert my card and enter my PIN. The payment of $55.50 was immediately taken from my account. For reference, I’ve never had to enter my PIN in a drive-thru before.
After the transaction went through, the employee told me the payment was “canceled.” I immediately showed her the notification on my phone proving that Popeyes had already charged my account $55.50.
She then called the manager over. I explained the situation again, and he asked the employee if the transaction was declined. She clearly stated that it was NOT declined. Despite hearing that the payment had already processed, the manager instructed her to run my card again using tap payment without asking for my consent and it charged my account a second time.
At that point, I became understandably frustrated. No manager should ever authorize a second charge without first discussing it with the customer, especially after being shown proof that the first payment already went through. The appropriate response should have been something like:
“Ma’am, we see the issue. Would you like us to try the card again, or would you prefer to contact your bank while we verify the transaction on our end?”
Instead, I was charged a total of $111 for one meal and left without any food.
What made the situation worse was the manager’s attitude. Rather than helping resolve the issue calmly and professionally, he became argumentative and refused to provide his name when I asked for it.
The only employee who demonstrated genuine customer service skills was the younger girl with curly brown hair working that night. She remained respectful, calm, and handled the situation far better than the manager did.
This experience was unacceptable. I believe an evaluation of this manager needs to be conducted because I highly doubt this is the first complaint regarding his behavior and lack of professionalism.
