Good food but service was slow and it wasn't overcrowded. Our server blamed the kitchen but ultimately is on him. Not to thrilled, nothing to make it up whatsoever. More than likely won't be back and won't recommend this place even though I like it. Disappointed experience

Went for graduation celebration, the service was subpar but our waiter was nice. Drinks (lemonade, tea, water) took a long time, our food came after the larger party that arrived after us, but overall the food is fresh, its meant to be shared and we had a good time.

We've genuinely loved this restaurant for many special occasions in the past, which makes our recent experience for my son's graduation particularly disappointing. While our server was incredibly nice and personable, the service was unfortunately very slow from the start. It took quite a while for him to greet us, and then checking in on our table was infrequent throughout the meal, despite the restaurant appearing quite empty. The bruschetta, as always, was really good – a definite highlight. However, the food itself was not up to par this time around. We opted for the individual lunch meals, and the portion sizes were noticeably off. Each plate consisted of a very small piece of chicken (or meat, for others) and an overwhelming amount of pasta or broccoli. It felt like 90% pasta or vegetables and only about 10% meat, which was quite unbalanced and unsatisfying given the price. To spend $400 on a bill, with an 18% tip already included (and us leaving extra), we were very disappointed with this visit. While we've had wonderful experiences here before and would consider returning, this particular occasion truly missed the mark.

We went back there after more than a year; service was too slow and restaurant wasn't full; the food was ok and I believe still too pricey for what it is

Chicken was old, they said they would fix it and chicken arrived when we were done with our meal.

excellent amount of fresh food, friendly server, with these hard times offering the $40 and $49 meal for a family of 4 is amazing and shows how conscious the restaurant is due to the economic crisis that many families are facing.

This is not the 1st time I have been to Buca di Beppo. As a matter of fact, I have frequented this location many times since 2010. I have never had an issue before and I have always been treated well. But this incident really left a bad taste in my mouth, no pun intended. My husband and I went on a date night, and we had a server (I forgot her name) and we asked for a bottle of their house wine which was on a special. The wine arrived but in an open clear glass bottle. The waitress explained that they ran out of their 1L house wine bottles and took a 1.5L and poured it into this clear glass bottle so we would have the exact amount. She didn't allow us to question, and she ran off. My husband and I thought it was weird and I placed a napkin over the top of the bottle to at least protect the liquid inside. When the waitress came back, I told her that we were uncomfortable with how this wine was presented. First the bottle was not opened in front of us, second (we don't know what wine) was poured in this clear glass bottle. I told her she should have given us the option to decline or accept, if there were not enough bottles for their customers. So, I told her we will just take the 1.5L, which she guesstimated incorrectly on the price, and had to return and tell us the actual price again. When she did bring the 1.5L wine to our table, it was open without a cork and the outside of the bottle was wet and sticky. My husband and I both knew at that point, they just funneled the wine from the clear glass bottle and brought it back to us. I just got exasperated at that point and decided to just wait for my food (which I was terrified they did something to it), eat and leave. We asked another waiter for a cork (that happened to be passing by), and we took the bottle home. It just really sucked that we were there to just have a nice, relaxing night out with food and drink. We just thought it was unprofessional how the wine was served and it was not corrected but we paid & left.

Went to celebrate my daughter's 24th birthday and had an amazing time! The food was excellent and Jeannie gave us exceptional service along with the rest of the staff when they came and sang happy birthday!

Buca is the best. The atmosphere, the decor, the people, the management, the service, the food.

I had high expectations for this restaurant and unfortunately it fell short. The food was cheap Italian adjacent. There was nothing that felt authentically Italian to me. The wine "special" of $15 for a bottle instead of $9 for a glass was a rip off. My husband asked for a glass, declined the server's offer of a bottle but she brought it anyway. The chianti was undrinkable, but I guess for $15 what can one expect? The fried mozzarella was bland and gloopy. The bruschetta (which the server mispronounced with the "shh" instead of the "k" sound and was quite condescending when we pronounced it correctly) had onions in it - not traditional Italian and chunks of mozzarella. It was overly vinegary. The spaghetti marinara was cold. Overall, not a good meal. First and last time at this restaurant.

The waitress Jeanne was amazing thumbs up very professional and very attentive excellent service.

We had a wonderful night out with our family of 10 with 4 kids last night. The food was absolutely delicious from appetizers through the desert. We were lucky enough to meet the chef who came to our table to drop some of our plates. Our amazing waiter Jeff was exceptional, from service to friendliness. Overall.. will definitely return, highly recommend. We all enjoyed the Nostalgic ambiance. ❤️
