The young line cook needs to learn how to judge the temperatures of what he's grilling and it's not by stabbing the patty, letting all the juice out, and looking inside 😏. Our Med-Rare burgers came out very medium 👎🏼

Every time I am in Fort Lauderdale I got to stop and get a hamburger and onion rings here at Char Hut. I have always love stopping in and having lunch. I go here and the one south next to 595

Grew up eating at char hut off 441 in North Dade County...was shocked to see they were still open in November 2025.... brought back a lot of memories...food was amazing as I remembered it...👍💓😎
You can get a burger and fries here for $20+ or go to Chilis and get a better fresh cooked burger with fries, chips and salsa, and a drink for $10.99. Not saying their food sucks, because it’s a decent burger but the prices are absolutely sickening compared to the competition. You’d think you were eating a premium burger, not something frozen which is what it is. Again, decent food…..disgusting prices.

I stopped by today at around 2:14 in the afternoon, and unfortunately the wait was incredibly long—both the drive-through and inside. This has never been my experience here before, so it was disappointing. I hope this was just an off day, because I’ve always enjoyed their food and service in the past.
