Been coming here for over 5 years never had any issues till it comes time to “Kalvin L” taking my family’s order in Davie Location. He mistakenly forgot to add a burger to our a meal. We were trying to express that to him that he didn’t take the order correctly. He proceeds to get offended for no reason and felt the need to tell us how we are wrong when we very nicely asked for a simple explanation. Don’t hire employees that can’t do their simple job right like this guy.

$85 I just spent for my family of 4. Not only that with the raise in price the quality of the food went down. I used to love char hut but I was so disappointed today. I could tell they are skimming on the quality of the burgers and tenders and raising the price. The burger was thinner definitely not juicey like it's supposed to be, chicken tenders seemed hollow and the bread was stale and breaking apart with each bite. That's ridiculous amount of money to spend on disappointment.

My family is from Georgia and we love coming here each time we visit. Although this time we ordered 2 burgers and 1 chicken sandwich, and soon after everyone was throwing up. After us all going to the doctor we were informed it was likely food poisoning. As someone who had attended culinary school, my assumption is the raw meat possibly not being cooled properly/being left out for too long. The pain sucks and unfortunately I don’t think we will return.

My husband and I decided today we just need to cross this off our list permanently. Last time we went they had changed to much cheaper, processed onion rings, from their previously wonderful ones. And this time (and it wasn't the only time, but we were trying to give them the benefit of the doubt), the yellowfin tuna sandwich that I ordered rare came well done and dry. Also both of our rolls were a little bit stale.
Prices have also gone completely through the roof, and if the quality were still there, I would still visit occasionally. But with the quality having gone down as well, I just have to call it quits.
You were great in your time. Char-Hut, and I will miss you...

I hadn't been to Char-Hut in years and decided to go since I was in Broward for the day. I was disappointed - I had the Cowboy burger $14.99 and it was mediocre at best. I didn't have any sides nor drink other than water to save $ but wound up paying over $16 with the tax. A lot of money for a mediocre hamburger, I think they need to make some changes to their menu and the place looks dated just as I remember it. Too bad.
Parking: Parking wasn't an issue, but I went after 3pm on a Thursday so idunno.

Food is still pretty good, service ok, but the New Prices are Crazy High, not coming back at all.
I miss Char-Hut! I went down to South Florida to do some back to school shopping and visit with family. Took my daughter to here to try these fabulous burgers. The food was delicious! A little pricey. $10 for just an individual burger no sides is a bit much. But I don't regret it because it was delicious. The lady at the counter was a little wacky. She was arguing with the couple ahead of me who got meals that come with a side and drink. But then charge them again for the drinks. And then deleted it and told them that she was going to give them the drinks for free but the combo clearly says comes with a side and drink. I would think a combo for $26 would include the drink. I was a little confused by that altercation but it didn't affect my experience. Just watch what they ring you up for.

Bk has better burgers, onion rings and for half the price. The bread was so thick, the burger so thin, you could only taste the bread. The onion rings were greasy and over cooked, not eatable. The meat in the burger was so dry I couldn't finish it. The place looked like it was from 1980. The place is one step above dog food. It was my first time and now my last time eating. If you want sub par burger, fries, and drink for $18, get ready to throw your money away. And people eat there? Not me.

I lived in Ocala, Fl used to lived in Plantation, Fl, I always ate at Char Hut. Since 4 years , I have not eat Char Hut and looking forward for it. I was little disappointed that Pita Bread are not fresh, and the chicken are very dry over cook. Not taste as good as before. I ordered 2 Pita Chickens sandwiches with cheese mayo only , onions Rings, and a soda wow price 31.00 !!!! Very expensive!

Food was terrible and over priced. We couldn't eat the french fries, not crispy, very greasy and tasteless, not crispy. The hamburguer the same not good. We will never stop to eat at this location, too much money to throw in the garbage.
