Dairy Queen (Treat)(Shanadoah Plaza)

I enjoy going for a blizzard but I find the store depressing. It is in need of a total renovation. Freezers are not working and microwave and other appliances are old. Staff is always pleasant.

Staff is very friendly, but rarely follows directions only on certain occasions when there’s this one kid that does it right topping are nice and chunky even throughout. I’ve tried to get a hold of management regarding their service, but the phone number never works. I’m going to reach out to corporate. I know these are kids working there, but we pay for a service and a product and you would think you get what the business is supposed to provide by saying on top of their employees. It’s frustrating since I go on a weekly basis so sometimes I just drive to Weston Cold Stone where they follow directions and give you exactly what you order.

Today we wanted ice cream… the coldest day in Florida. I ran in at 9:59 pm hoping to get original soft serve plain vanilla cones. The young girl was breaking down for the day but with no hesitation she served. Thanks for making my night.

SCAM ALERT been coming here my whole life and just up until a few months ago new employee working there is overpricing items and keeping the difference first time they did it I noticed it was unusual of how high the prices went I hadn’t been there in a while so I thought oh it’s just inflation long story short I went to a different location and their prices were significantly lower… I asked for a receipt this time around so I had proof and the girl asks me “is it for the .99 blizzard I responded with no not exactly little did she know I already knew she was going to overcharge me in the receipt it just says custom amount due to the fact that she overcharged and played it off because if she charged me the right amount it would have a blizzard as the item I already contacted my attorney and I’m not going to be letting this slide I guarentee Im not the only one who’s been scammed as this is probably routine now when the store manager is not around

This is the second time i have been to this location and the worker tells me they are closed. the first time i went there around 10pm because online it says store closes at 10:30pm, we said okay whatever. TONIGHT we went there at 9:35 thinking we should be good to go. nope. this young lady is on her phone by the register, as soon as we walked in she mentions that they are closed, of course we are confused because online says 10:30pm. her reasoning? they clean 20mins before closing (mind you, we were there 55mins before closing) and that they are “officially” closed with an attitude. ridiculous

I have given this location multiple tries and it's always disappointing. The blizzards are always melted into a soup consistency and not made correctly with the toppings, somethings always missing. I rather drive past this location to the dairy queen on Oakland & hiatus.

This is worst Dairy Queen’s experience I’ve ever had, I went there last night at 930pm and ordered 2 mini and one small blizzard, not only did she make the order wrong she gave it to me all messy and was overflowing out of the cup, she saw it and didn’t even offer napkins. She was obviously in a rush to close the store in 30 minutes, definitely the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had, plus there was a deal that could’ve saved me 8 dollars and it wasn’t offered to me I noticed after I ordered which left me feeling cheated out. I’ve decided from this visit that Dairy Queen’s is nothing but a low down fast food ice cream joint, most likely won’t be coming back here again or to another Dairy Queen’s.

Waited twice now for them to open at stated 12pm...nobody shows. While waiting other patrons pass by saying "yeah good luck they're never there," and "that's hit or miss," I finally called the number only to get a very nice lady say that it'll be "20 minutes before I can show up and open the store...'
