This place has really gone downhill ? The mildewed and molded tiles on the ceiling reflect the level of care happening here. Our waitress was neutral. The food was not good. The macaroni and cheese was like a watery, creamy pasta with a bit of mild shredded cheddar sparsely thrown on top and baked to cover the lackluster appearance of the very sad macaroni. My pancakes were hard ? and my eggs, which were supposed to be over medium, were white, as if they were boiled, not fried, and the center was hard. I ordered my bacon crispy, and I think they microwaved the soggy pieces I received.
The pluses are that there are charging stations on every single table now (which I believe was a poor investment, considering the ceiling tiles/ water damage) AND you can sit outside with your doggies ?? AND they're bringing karaoke back on the 2nd Friday (I believe) of the month.

Super good food and the best thing: this place is 24/7. We loved the energy and the style. The server, a colombian guy I belive, was super nice and friendly and with an amazing energy. Was super late in the night and he was always smiling.

Stopped in tonight for a 1/2 sandwich and soup special. Had a 1/2 turkey sandwich (not deli style.3 slices of turkey on a slice of bread. Didn’t get any lettuce or tomato). The soup was delicious and the sandwich was as good as it would be at home). Asked for Swiss cheese. Menu said $12.99. When I got the check there was a 1.00 additional for matzoh ball soup and 2.00 extra for a 1/2 slice of Swiss, really !!! Now I know why the place was empty on a Saturday night

Called for takeout and asked about their online seasonal menu, was transferred to someone new, was told they didn’t have it and hung up on they didn’t even take our order. They could have asked what we wanted instead I had a backup option of the normal menu but nope they just hung up the phone. Isn’t the first time workers have been rude was there a week earlier for takeout and was ignored by waiters and waitresses.

Usually great, but not this time... Server disappeared. Food sat at the window for almost 10 min, never checked on me to see if I needed anything, and was no where to be found at the end so I could pay my bill... She was taller, slender and spoke Spanish ( I know, because I heard her complaining to another employee, in Spanish, about her supervisor, and My first word in life was Agua "water" so I understood every word)...
Flashback has always been a bit pricey, but the quality of food and service has always made their meals well worth it...
When she finally came to collect the bill, I let her know my concerns and she seemed more put off by my words than her actions... Anyone that knows me will tell you that I'm super low maintenance, but this situation was gross negligence on this young lady's part and not a good representation of Flashback, which has always held themselves to a much higher standard... I'll try again, but probably will make the drive to Lester's a few times before the taste of this bad experience wears off...
