Fresh Harvest (in Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood)

No foresight from nearsighted management.

I went there on Thanksgiving with my lady, “dressed to the nines,” and they refused to allow us a walk-through—even accompanied by someone.

Seven employees were standing around the front counter congregating conversing—not doing much of anything—and when we arrived, they were too lazy, too self-centered, too self-absorbed, and too nearsighted to think that it would be a good idea to let potential customers walk-through to see the buffet—even if it was accompanied by a member of the their team. My lady and I arrived there an hour and 15 minutes before closing and at a time when there were almost no customers in the restaurant.

The place was slower than you could imagine on this holiday night. I presume a lot of people didn’t like the $30 price hike Fresh Harvest enacted for Thanksgiving or maybe the every was just eating with their families at home.

Regardless, if management wanted to build this place up they should have the intellectual capacity to realize it’s probably a good idea to show what they’re selling—especially when there’s very few customers there—and with seven employees who are standing around at the registers just hanging out.

Because someone atop the managerial line didn’t think it was important to keep track of these congregating automatons it cost Fresh Harvest at least two customers on that night and, reasonably, in perpetuity.

(I ask Fresh Harvest, ‘What is the value of employees just standing around talking anyway and is it greater than the people trying to patronize your business?’)

The place shut down before it only recently reopened, but I would imagine it shut down because of hapless, nearsighted management that didn’t think of ways to promote the business. Instead, they choose to segregate the customers from the food they sell. Fresh Harvest has hired people that don’t care enough to promote the business even when they’re doing nothing at all.

And this was Thanksgiving night for crying out loud. How unconcerned, disconnected, self-centered, and egotistical does the managerial structure there have to be not extend the courtesy of showing what they sell to the curious, well-dressed, Thanksgiving customers on at slow night while at the end of the night?

If this behavior is likely endemic of the managerial structure straight up to the top, then it’s on track to translate into the collapse of the business— just like we saw in recent years, before this halfhearted veneer of a resurgence.

Been here all 3 days after re opening. $25 buffet after casino rewards discount. Steak and mashed potatoes worth it itself. Drink and desert good. Everything else very low quality.

They advertise it as if its open but its not...shame on you hard rock!

Hurry up and reopen. What's the hold up? Total BS.

I miss this place. In 2020 I celebrated my birthday.

Finest food, very kind employees, consistently great ambience. They charge affordable pricing and the food quality is good. Highly recommended.

Very disappointing everyone was talking about the new restaurants at the Hard Rock Café and with my family we couldn't wait to meet them so we waited for an opportunity where we all went and it was on my daughter's birthday I sent an email but I did not receive an answer so I called and asked If I needed a reservation and if they had something special to sing congratulations they told me yes and I didn't need to reserve so we went when we entered the alarms went off as we had to stand in line like in a supermarket with boxes that charged you when entering and when we were assigned a table for 9 people we went to serve everything a disappointment the raw meat they cut you a slice and we waited 14 minutes for my parents to heat it up because it is freezing everything was cold the gnocchi ice cream everything was very poor and they served everything to you. you could not serve anything the salads without any variety the hard duck our teeth almost fell out when we bit into it we never imagined with almost 5 stars what It was going to be a place like this, we left without being able to have dinner, none of the people at the table liked the food, WE WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!!!!!
