I ordered food online before I left work so I could pick it up quickly and leave. But, they never confirmed my order, and I got a text saying the place is probably busy and would need extra time to make my food. However, when I got there the place was empty and when I asked about my order she hadn't made It yet. So, I had to wait an extra 20 minutes. The calzone was okay but kind of gooey and burnt because she rushed to make it. I dont think I'll be going back.

My husband and I were on our way to Mission BBQ for dinner when we saw this little restaurant from University Drive with an eye catching name. We immediately yelped it and our mouths watered as we saw pictures of delicious pizza and traditional Italian food. When we parked we realized that the place was completely empty, which we thought was odd for a Friday night, but since the reviews seemed to be consistently good we decided to give it a try. The place is adorable. The space is very well decorated and cozy. They even have sweet drawings made by kids hung on the wall that give it a family oriented kind of place. The first thing odd thing I noticed when we walked in was the choice of music. Instead of playing Italian themed music or something soothing, they had Spanish music playing...not soothing Spanish music...but Reggaeton. It really didn't fit the theme and overall environment of the restaurant. The second thing I noticed was that we got that "We're closing in an hour, I wish you didn't just walk through that door" kind of greeting. Now writing this we probably should have walked back out and continued to Mission BBQ at this point, but our mouths were still watering from the pictures of Pizza we saw previously. I asked for the bruschetta and the server blatantly just said they ran out of bread, which can definitely happen to any business, but kind of ironic for an Italian restaurant. The worst part is that there was no hospitable conversation around this topic. I was literally just told "No. We ran out of bread." Umm...ok? My husband and I continued on and ordered our pizzas and Italian beer which were both absolutely delicious. Just as we were finishing, we started talking amongst ourselves about dessert and getting excited about sharing something sweet and having some espresso to end our date night...aaand that's when the server came with the bill. Welp, that was cut short. We weren't asked if we would like dessert or coffee or any hospitable talk about our experience. Needless to say we were disappointed and obviously felt like we were being kicked out. It's a shame too bc their coffee machine looked really nice. As we got into our car, we looked back at the building and all the lighters were turned off!! It was 9:45pm! They close at 10pm. It was so clear that we weren't welcome nor wanted there. It's really unfortunate because my husband and I loved the pizza and beer, loved the restaurant decor, but the service was horrible. They might as well have thrown a pizza our way and kicked us out the door. We would have loved to support a local business and make it a family favorite, but the service was just emotionless and plain rude. Dear Owner, you created a great little place there. It looks like you put a lot of heart into it. The food I got to taste was great, but the service was uninviting and made us feel unwelcome. I hope this review helps you as an owner. I'd love to see you succeed.

Pizza was awesome. Service could use a bit of fixing.

Update your hours if your kitchen is closing at 9 and not 10pm as listed. Waste of a 20 min drive. Aside from that, food was good last time I went...

I thought this place was overpriced. I did not get that much food for how much I paid. Server was missing most of the time we were there. I think I got the tortalini and I got around 5 pieces in a pool of white sauce. Kinda disappointing. :/

If I could give a negative 000 I would! When I walked in, there was a man and woman ordering at the counter. I looked around for a menu only to notice they were at the counter and the dark haired girl that was there was behind the counter was starring at me when I looked up. She said nothing .Once the man walked away I approached the counter and she walked away. I wouldn't spend 1 penny in here. Pay attention to how people receive you, and take your money and patronize those that appreciate your business. My first time and last time.

I couldn't post a photo that I was already done! The previous Yelp photos don't lie, real Napoletana pizzas! I recommend this place eyes closed, right in front of Nova Southeastern University campus. Don't miss it out! SO GOOD! Thank you

After reading all of the reviews I figured I would finally come in to try this restaurant since my family wanted to try an Italian place in the area. We walk in and there is one woman who seemed to be the chef and waiter which was odd but after we sit down we wait for around 15 minutes before she came to our table. We ask for a glass of wine and to start off with the margarita pizza for an appetizer. I wanted to try the pasta in the wheel of cheese since I keep seeing pictures on yelp of people who had the staff come over to the table to do that whole spectacle in front of them. So I asked the waiter if they bring it over which she replied yes so I ordered that my family ordered the chicken in the vodka sauce. After about 20 more minutes the pizza comes and about a minute or two after that my family's vodka dish comes out and then I look over to see another man who I presume is the manager/owner who is doing my pasta in the parm wheel over by the register which he then leaves over on a counter across from me so we can eat the pizza instead of just making the pasta when he sees us almost done with the pizza which was frustrating. The pizza seemed a little undercooked and doughy, as far as my parm pasta I will say it was good just needed a little salt and pepper which I understand. The vodka pasta was honestly one of the worst Italian dishes I've had in a long time after my family took a bite and let me try a bite I put it to the side of the table to let them know there was an issue. After we finish what we did like we waited another 15 minutes to have someone come back over since they never came back over to ask how the meal was. The cook walks past us probably 8 times to clean the tables but never once said a word to us, the owner seemed to have family/friends in the restaurant so he was sitting with them and avoiding us as well. After being fed up with nobody helping us I walk over to the owner/cook to tell them about the experience to which the cook replied I am the cook sorry and the gentleman said don't worry about the pasta. Not once did he apologize for the experience or try to talk about it. I paid and left which will be the last time I come back there are much better Italian places with much better service than this place.

Was sold by the reviews & authentic vibe but after ordering the spaghetti & vermicelli I have to say the food had no flavor. Very disappointing. Maybe we had the wrong cooks today. My god. Won't be coming back. Only thing half decent was the pizza my daughter ordered.

1st time here. Great food- our appetizer was the bruschetta - it was delicious- lots of flavor. My husband ordered a calzone. He loved it! I got chicken parmigiana with fettuccine- it was so yummy. My husband had tiramisu for dessert- he ate it all. Nice restaurant-

It is hands-down the best pizza in South Florida. Thin crust delicious and does not make you feel full or sick after eating. Cheese is really high quality as are all the other ingredients. It is a must go to restaurant if you live in a 25 mile radius! Much better than Medici in Fort Lauderdale

Paty Palencia

The best italian restaurant we have tried in South Florida. The menu is short and simple but very well made. Our favourites are the pizza, gnocchi and the burrata. Definitely worth giving it a try.
