This place is def a new favorite of mine. What initially interested me was their widespread menu of both sushi plates and as well as hibachi platters and noodles and much more. There is a decent amount of parking in the plaza it's located in. Was greeted shortly after arriving and seated at a booth. We were told that happy hour included half off drinks so we each got a watermelon & basil smash, they were strong and delicious, tasted pretty much like a watermelon soda. We started off with the gyoza which I think was the best I've ever had. I tried their miso soup, was good but nothing crazy, just bigger portion than usual which is not a bad thing but I ordered two rolls! I chose the muscle roll & salmon lover. Both were delicious, I'd say my favorite was the muscle roll though. My boyfriend got the chicken katsu and was happy with that. I wish we had room for dessert but I even had to take home half of each roll, they were bigger than your usual roll but I didn't want them going to waste! The space is very cute with a bar on the left side with a couple chairs, booths, tables & high tops as well as outdoor seating that features a cute flower backdrop. Will for sure be coming back again & I can't wait until then!

Wow! What delicious food. The belly of the salmon sushi pieces were outrageous. So melt in your mouth awesome!! We ordered the brussels sprouts with pork belly that was delicious!! The lychee martini was great. We loved it so much we are going back the following weekend. The background music is a great selection as well.

I was not happy with my food. I ordered chicken but it had too much of something(seasoning) for me to enjoy. The sushi that I ordered was excellent and the servers were nice. They did seat us, then ask us to move tables after we started eating our appetizers because they apparently sat us at a reserved table.

Love this place for their happy hour! My go to is the lychee martini which is strong and sweet! The food is quick and delicious everytime! If you happen to come on happy hour don't miss out on the takoyakis, they are too die for! Wish they weren't a happy hour only item. The vibe here gives you a little bit of wynwood, nice place for a girls dinner or a date night.

If you're coming for an all around comfortable spot in the area, this is it! Great for date night, family dinners, and larger parties as well. The sushi is excellent and never disappoints. Some of our favs are : Phat Girl roll, salmon cali, muscle roll, crunchy tuna roll, trio roll, hamachi cilantro roll, and the volcano roll. Happy hour is daily from 3-6pm. Their drinks are great, especially for the price. They did change something alcohol wise for the drinks and we have noticed a quality difference. It sounds like they use specific less expensive alcohol for the happy hour or can make the drink with a better quality spirit for a higher price, as we understood it explained by our Server. Service is always excellent. Everyone is very nice and attentive. Such a wonderful spot with great people working here. We always look forward to going back.

Favourite casual sushi spot in south Florida. You can catch me dining here for lunch, on a random Tuesday night, or on a Friday night to celebrate the weekend. The food is so consistently good as well as the service, and the vibes are young and fun and comforting. All sushi rolls are great, but the appetisers are my favourite! The TNT tuna is to die for! The perfect bite and I crave it at least once a week. The only thing I would not necessarily recommend are the ramens, I've tried better ones. Every other item on this menu is gonna hit the spot love this place so much.

I have been dying to go Phat Boy Sushi for a while, and when I found out there was one in Davie (closer to me), I was excited to go. When my friends and I walked into Phat Boy Sushi, I loved the chic and neon ambiance of the restaurant; it feels like a modern New York cafe ambiance. Our server was extremely helpful and nice; he helped us navigate through the menu, and gave some great suggestions. We came right in time for their Happy Hour, and we were thrilled at their drink specials. We ordered the spicy margarita, espresso martini, and lychee martini. These drinks were great! They were flavorful, had the perfect balance of alcohol and sweetness, and appealing to the eye. We then ordered their pork gyoza and crab rangoon dip. The rangoon dip was amazing! The dish came with wonton chips that paired well with the dip which had a lot of crab meat. We ordered the combo fried rice, kani su roll, Miso Ramen, and Crunchy Tuna Roll for our entrees. Omg everything was amazing. The sushi rolls were thick and had a lot of pieces. The fried rice was packed with flavor with chicken, steak and shrimp. The miso ramen had loads of shirataki noodles and shrimp which paired well with the miso broth. I can't wait to come back to Phat Boy sushi very soon to try more of their menu options.

Just ordered take out. I have eaten and ordered take out from here multiple times. Im not sure the problem tonight. Maybe it's because I ordered about 45 minutes before they close however still no excuse. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen and gyoza. I always order the same thing. Container of broth is only 3 quarters filled and gyoza is like deep fried. They are normally pan fried. Needless to say, not too happy with my order tonight. This is unacceptable, especially for the price.

I had never been to this location but it is just as good as the other ones! I came for dinner on a Sunday night. It's super nice that right up front they have reserved parking for the people dining here. I sat at the bar and ordered two rolls the hamachi jalapeño and the phat girl roll with the crispy bok choy. The bok Choy came out first and I love the sauce that comes with it. The two rolls came out together. If you liked cooked rolls the phat girl is a hot deep friend roll topped with tuna. The hamachi jalapeño one is always one of my favorites with the spicy was and the freshness of the fish and I love that it comes wrapped in cucumber. Always a fan of this place glad that I got to try another location.
