This is one of those hidden gems that you don't notice at first glance but come to really really enjoy. Personally, I like their unique choices, the style, the price, and everything else. To have a Latin Carribean restaurant like this is a great addiction to the community. This is a great lunch/dinner spot especially if you're on the go and I hope to see more people at this spot. Excellent tacos. Meat is delicious and cooked perfectly. Lots of flavor and perfectly balanced with a little spice from a red sauce that you can omit but I wouldn’t. I also picked from the other selections they have that you pay by the pound. Everything looked great and tasty. Nice simple decor kept immaculate. Friendly owners. Will be back.

I love coming to Romero's EVERY Sunday for a Trini style Sunday lunch! Everything is always so fresh and tasty! This is my new happy place! Love it! Makes me feel as if I'm back home. Today I decided to give this restaurant a try since it was highly recommended by a friend. If is located on stirring road in Davie! Perfect location for Caribbean food seeing as we don't have many out this way. It is a very nice place. Not much seating for eat-in. This restaurant is buffet style and you pay by the pound. A bunch of varieties to choose from. I decided to not go with the buffet and order the bake and shark and an aloopie. The bake and shark was delicious...the bake was very nice and light. There were a variety of toppings to choose from to put on... I love to eat my bake and shark with pineapple which they didn't have out front but the chef immediately went back and got me a few chunks! I loved that! Enjoyed every bit of it. The aloo pie on the other hand needed some work. Wasn't my favorite. Love this place and excited to go back soon for a meal.

Romero's pic n choose is a Caribbean/ Latin infused buffet. They have a self serving station where you can choose from a variety of dishes. They supply gloves for you for sanitary purposes. They have rice and peas, yellow rice, stew chicken, curry goat, oxtail, macaroni pie, corn pie etc. On Tuesdays they have tacos and weekends shark and bake with all the toppings to choose from like apple chow, pineapple, lettuce, tomatoes etc. The food is very flavorful. I heard there macaroni pie was good but I got there late so they were out. I definitely will be back to give it a try. They also have Caribbean soft drinks like apple j, champagne cola etc. You can dine-in if you like but it's a small establishment so seating is scarce with bar seating.

This is by far one of my favorite Caribbean Restaurants in Davie. The food was impeccable! I absolutely fell in love with my entire plate of food! I ordered the curry goat, rice and peas and macaroni pie. My goat was extremely tender, the rice and peas had amazing flavor and the macaroni pie was absolutely delicious. When you first arrive all of the menu items are out buffet style for you to fill your to go box as much as you like. The restaurant provides you gloves to serve the food and all of the dishes are covered. I loved the fact that you could mix and match dishes, the way you desire. If you want oxtail and stew chicken, you have the option of adding both to your plate. I will definitely be back. Overall, I am so glad that authentic Caribbean food has been brought to Davie!

Great food. The tacos were amazing. My wife has the Peruvian chicken and thought it was good as well. Especially the green sauce. Definitely coming back. Never had authentic tacos in my life, glad I tried them. Accepts Apple Pay. Staff is super nice and helpful. Looking forward to next time.
