My family and I have been going to Shorty's for more years than I can count. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is country and the service is usually exceptional. They have some really good specials. This is a good family restaurant.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Shorty‘s in Davie for ribs. And eating there the other day reminded me that I need to go back more. The half rack of ribs was right off the bone delicious. Juicy, tender, and oh that barbecue sauce yummy. It makes me feel like I’m in Texas with the interior decor. fun place to go and eat.

We went for my brother's 40th birthday. Food was subpar.my brother had to send his brisket back twice it was dry and looked like it was made from cold cuts not from an actual smoked brisket.

Shorty's is still going strong. The BBQ ribs are fall off the bone tender, and the sides are delicious. Prices have gone up recently ( as with everything) but it's worth the price if you are looking for a BBQ spot.

Totally off there Game tonight at the pick up window been ordering take out for years here never this bad tonight 1/19 630 pm ordered 5 dinners all 5 not up to standard very dry ribs skinny no meat burger raw un eatable pork dry wasted 80 dollars sad I like shortys but seemed off there game tonight wife disappointed like we flushed 80.00 down the drain nobody ate there dinners come on shortys let’s stay consistent willing to give you another shot but afraid to spend that kinda money again to be disappointed 😡

I’ve been to Shorty’s BBQ in Davie several times, and overall it’s a solid spot. The food is consistent, and the corn on the cob is really good — definitely one of my favorite sides there. The place has a casual, laid-back vibe that makes it easy to stop by for a relaxed meal. It’s a good option when you’re craving BBQ and want something familiar and satisfying. 🌽

Change your hours to close at 9:55pm. Just now before I post this, I pulled in and he looked me right in the eyes and locked the To go window. To be fair, I understand. I would have asked what was left as usually there are some ribs pensioners g they can do quick. Not trying to keep them there late. However, that is absolutely an employee who doesn’t care about sales, customers, etc. I would rather you tell me nothing left and closed vs right in the face lock the window prior to the actual closing time of 10pm. Food is good here usually and this is strictly off a customer service experience.
