This is a letter of appreciation to my all-time favorite shaved ice place. Dear Hanji family, You have provided us with the best shaved ice for many years. Every time I had a friend visit from out of town, Hanji was a necessary stop. I had shaved ice in Taiwan, NYC, Seattle, and Houston,and I can honestly say that your shaved ice has been the best in the US, not only in quality, but in price. Who knew that the best shaved ice for me would be so close to home. My Taiwanese friends, as picky as they were about boba, gave their stamp of approval for your boba. You were one of the few places that had boba in Broward county as early as 2016, so it was no wonder there were times I'd drop in at least once a week. Another reason why I'm such a fan is that you really emphasized the concept of family. I love that you guys look for employees who stay long-term and you build that sense of family with quarterly get-togethers--wellness is also a must and I appreciate how you prioritized it. Thank you for still running for as long you have--I know it's been difficult with the adjustments to COVID and as sad as I am for you to close, wellness is definitely the priority. ---------------------------------------------- TO ANYONE READING THIS: If you like shaved ice or boba, please make sure to stop by--last day is 11/28! I used to love going here for boba tea. Recently I went made a purchase. I been running errands and had more to do. I asked to use the restroom and was told No. It might sound silly, but when you just purchased a drink, and you have to pee, then told you can't! They want you to go to another place and use their bathroom. Very Wrong!! Bad service!!

A small shop all was order on line or order in the iPad no cash all digital. The bubble tea I didn’t get because I hate chewing. The cream ice matcha was best combining with Michi balls a little chewy but wasn’t too sweet Love the place

Everything at Hanji is delicious! The restaurant itself is super cute. It’s fun just to go there with some friends and play the board games while enjoying some tea! One of my personal favorites is the Honeylime butterfly and the lavender milk tea! For the snow I recommend the sweet corn (it’s seasonal so you might have to wait) or the raspberry litchi (the one in the picture). The staff is very sweet and will get you your order quickly. I will ALWAYS recommend this place.

My son & I have passed this place for years & today he asked me if we could try it. So glad that we did. We did a pickup order, so it was not as pretty to photograph by the time we arrived home...so no pics. This was both of our first time trying snow cream & we were very happy with our selections we ordered. Very yummy. Staff was very friendly, inviting, greeted me immediately & worked quickly to limit any wait time. The establishment is clean & they clean everything they use & touch thoroughly. We will most definitely visit again.And I definitely recommend.

There is no Boba like Hanji Boba. We always go for the Thai Tea, it is absolutely the best. When ordering on the website you can customize your drink which is very convenient. Love this place.

Wanted to rate them more for the friendly staff but couldn’t go any higherTried Rose boba tea. Although the drink was good, i was disappointed since it didn’t have a hint of rose tea flavor. Apart from that it’s a Fancier looking place and the ordering system helps you personalize your drink which is a great plus.

This place is so complicated to order, drinks were just standard, not wow! for this regular matcha tea. I paid close to $8, tip was forced and you spend a lot of time doing self service and then waiting a while for them to prepare it! I know is a fancy exotic drink, at least it should be a nice experience to be worth it

High quality ingredients help create the great hand crafted options at Hanji. Best of all, depending on what you get, the combos are virtually limitless. Their boba teas are excellent and worth the prices (which aren't bad either!); the milk tea was delicious yet also strong and paired well with the added boba. Their fruit teas are also refreshing, with added milk and topping options adding a taste of varying dimension and enjoyment. Parking is definitely not an issue here and the staff is so courteous and polite. You can even order ahead for pickup. Store is also spacious and accessible despite COVID restrictions and limitations.

If you’re looking for something different Hanji is the place to go! Their snow cream is a unique Taiwanese dessert made of frozen milk and/or tea, shaved into ribbons making it far less heavy than ice cream. The bowl of deliciousness is topped with a variety of different textures from Cap’n Crunch to Boba & custard followed by a drizzle of condensed milk.They offer a variety of traditional flavors of snow cream shaved ice like chocolate & strawberry to the more adventurous raspberry lychee or sesame. The Thai tea and Matcha (accompanied by red bean, love that combination!) are my favorites as well sweet corn and avocado flavors which are seasonal and only for a short time, not available year round.

my go to for boba! hanji definitely isn't the closest place to me, it's about a 22 minute drive depending how bad traffic is. still, i've been coming here since this place was called sweet tooth (which was i believe 5 years ago) so i cant believe i've never made a review before! i made this review after seeing the price increase announcement to support a business i love, as hanji has always been covid-19 safe, great with customer service, and absolutely delicious. the milk pudding here is the best milk pudding i've ever had, and this place always satisfies my cravings. whenever i'm in the area, i always make a point to stop by!
