I’ve been coming to Tijuana Taxi for over a decade and sadly I must say the quality has declined. First, the alcohol drinks are not hitting the way they use to. I’ve always ordered the Sangria Rita and with one drink was feeling happy and this last time I came, it felt more like a frozen sugary drink. Did the bartenders change? Even my husband who is a light weight drinker stated he did not taste alcohol in his drink. Second, they got rid of the unlimited free chips and salsa. They still give you one free chips and salsa which is great but I like having two when dining in lol. I’m sure some people probably abuse this treat and with the economy they probably needed to do cuts but the unlimited free chips and salsa really used to set them apart. Thirdly, the service is mid like not bad at all not fantastic, just mid. This used to be the spot but has taken a different direction. The white rice has been consistent though: white and fluffy. I would definitely try coming here one more time, because maybe it was just an occurrence. However, if this is how the Taxi is driving then I’ll probably look into other Mexican restaurants in the area. Lots of memories created here.

our server, Francesca was amazing. She was perfect. In every way she got triple sat with a two top of four top. Then an eight top outside we were placing an order with her. She brought everything attentively. The kitchen made an order error on my friends dish and my dish because it wasn’t delivered by her. It was delivered by another associate then the manager comes over and he downgrades her about her not being a good enough server that’s why she works in the daytime and he totally was judging her integrity and we both stuck up for her because we’re both servers and in the biz. The thing is is that shame on him because he had no right to be verbally abusive to customers of us about Francesca. She was perfect in every way Today’s date is 14 October and it’s 3:05 PM and we just left Tijuana taxi. We will definitely come back to see our server and I’m glad we spoke up to the manager on her behalf. Thank you.

Went to the Coral Springs location on Saturday, arrived group of 7 with no reservation and was seated right away. Dalena was our server and she was great! She got the orders correct was able to help with menu choices and even read back our orders to make sure she got them correct. As someone who owns a catering company she was the type of server I would hire!

Deleana was amazing! Super friendly, professional, and attentive the whole time. She made great menu suggestions and checked in often without being pushy. The food was delicious, and her positive attitude made the experience even better. If you go to Tijuana Taxi, ask for Deleana — she’s the best!

This bar is so cozy. The food is good for a bar. I love the atmosphere and everyone is happy to serve you. It gets packed because the happy hour food and drinks special are worth it. We love the fajitas and birria bowl. The mango madness margarita is def my favorite.

Ive been coming here consistently for about a year now. Food is great and always fresh. And almost always get seated immediately. They have a great variety of music. Place is always clean from the booth and chairs to the tables and windows. Bathroom is clean and smells fresh. My favorite waitress is Kayla. She is extremely attentive and very friendly. I ask for her every time i come in. She learned our names quickly and makes us feel like family. She is always in high spirits and treats us the same every time no matter the day or time. Love to come here.

We stopped by Tijuana Taxi Co for Taco Tuesday and had an amazing lunch! The tacos were fresh and flavorful, and the margaritas were excellent. A huge shout-out to Tina at the bar — she was so friendly, asked our names, and made us feel welcome right away. The hospitality here is off the charts, and the vibe is fun and relaxed. Great food, great drinks, and genuinely great service — we’ll definitely be back!

I recently visited Tijuana Taxi with three coworkers—one of whom usually has great experiences here—but unfortunately, ours was far from that.
The food I ordered lacked consistency, and when I asked for simple add-ons like salsa, jalapeños, or sour cream to improve it, every single request was met with, “That’s an extra charge.” I also ordered extra meat on the side, which came out looking like puppy chow—and for $10, it was very disappointing.
While the atmosphere itself wasn’t terrible, the overall service and food quality left a lot to be desired. To make matters worse, when we spoke with the manager about our concerns, he seemed completely uninterested in hearing us out.
Sadly, this experience was enough for me to say I won’t be returning.
