Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I was there just now on Sunday around 4:30 PM. The lady at the front never acknowledged me. I waited over 10 minutes before telling me she has to serve everybody online before serving the customers in the store once acknowledge to let you know that it would be a minute just told me to stand there. I was the only one in the store waiting for a smoothie. She decided to make eggs smoothies for online people. That’s just acknowledging my smoothie. Terrible customer service I will never go back.

The food I ordered was satisfactory; however, the staff could improve their handling of food to prevent cross-contamination. I observed an African American young lady with blondish hair cut up bananas and then immediately went to putting lettuce on a sandwich with the same gloves.

Great location with plenty of parking and lots of seating inside. The pickup boxes for online orders are placed really nicely and make the process super easy.

I dined in today, and my order came out quickly with great quality.

The welcome staff, Trinity, was incredibly friendly and let me know about the current promotions, which definitely motivated me to come back again. Highly recommend Tropical Smoothie on S University Drive #160! 🌴🥤

placed an online order exactly at 2:00 p.m. and arrived shortly after. As soon as I walked in, no one greeted me, no one offered to help, and there was zero guidance. Someone asked if I was picking up an order I said yes and gave my name and that was it. No one told me where to go, how long it would take, or even acknowledged me after that.

I ended up sitting there for 20 minutes, completely ignored. None of the staff bothered to check on me or speak to me at all. And it wasn’t just me other customers were walking in and receiving the same cold, unwelcoming treatment. The staff was rude, careless, and clearly unprofessional.

The service here is honestly terrible. The employees act like they don’t want to be there or do their jobs. I won’t be coming back, and management seriously needs to consider replacing the entire team with people who actually want to work and treat customers with basic respect. SUNDAY JULY 20

Awful awful awful service. Gave my order out to another guest and made me wait around until I asked for a refund. No one knew how to process a refund and had to call out to get help. Staff not wearing masks and repeatedly coming within six feet. Avoid at all costs.

I immediately walked out of this location when I saw the employee filling up the water jug that they use for smoothies in their “hand washing only” sink.
