Daytona Hershey's is a small shop near the boardwalk with the best sundaes, like the oreo cookies and peanut butter cup ice cream with chocolate syrup. The staff is friendly and patient, especially with kids. The pistachio ice cream in a waffle cone is a must-try. The only downside is the limited seating, but the service makes up for it.
