Normally I would give Sakana five stars but after over 40 years of frequenting this restaurant under different owners over the years I must say it is not quite the same quality that it once was and like most restaurants nowadays the prices have went way up. $22 for chicken and stir fried rice may seem okay to some but that was the least expensive choice for us. The servers yes there were 3 attending to us (no one was there) were VERY attentive almost too much really and we never needed anything we were just fine. The little Debbie brownie was $5. They portion out ginger Wasabi etc. which is a good way to cut costs but it feels strange having to continue to ask for more which we did not. I would imagine lunch is more reasonable. I have noticed if you have a coupon here it takes forever to pay your bill and they always want to take your phone with them. 20 minutes to eat and 20 minutes to pay. No seaweed salad anymore on the sushi boats. Oh well I still love the sushi so I'm sure I will be back.

Burnt my food until no good, didn’t give refills in a timely manner and tried to charge me $23 for gratuity, the cops was called but said I was free to go bc I paid my bill/taxes on the food/drinks but they couldn’t force me to pay gratuity. Theses people had no personality either ? they took pictures of my car, me,my husband/ kids and even videoed us while waiting for the cops LOL LOL. Choose a dining place wisely but not this one ?

We did the sushi on the rotating boats & the place was empty! I couldn't believe it because everything was delicious! ? Great service too.
Kid-friendliness: They were very attentive to the kids, gave them special chopsticks and extra of the decorative flowers when they said they liked them. :)

Our sushi was good, very skeptical of sushi floating on boats on room temp water so ordered from menu. Staff was great.

Very rude! I called wanting to know the price and the lady was very short with me! Maybe if it would’ve stated it on the website I wouldn’t have had to call! I would not recommend this place just because of customer service!

Very disappointing experience. I hate to give a bad review but this place was just plain bad. It was dirty, the food wasn’t good, and there were numerous health code violations in plain site. We ended up just cashing out and leaving after we got our food.

Place is a dump, sushi boats looked near except they were all warm because they had been sitting out so long…. Ordered ramen and they nuked it in the microwave and then when I said it wasn’t good the waitress just said well that’s how they do it and proceeded to charge me for it after I only took one bite if I could rate 0 I would and I never do reviews
