We were very pleased with our server Ryan.
The food presentation was amazing but some of the items were not very hot upon delivery to our table. We had Escargots, Lump Crab Portobello and a bottle of wine to start. This was a nice beginning leading up to the entrees. We had Filet Mignon, 2 orders of 3 split lobster tails with sides (we did substitute a few) and Lamb lollipop chops. The mashed potatoes were room temperature and the green beans as well. The view was absolutely gorgeous BUT the sun shining on the windows made it very hot sitting at the table we were at. We had a 6 pm reservation so I’m sure that is part of the issue but maybe have more air flow going in the restaurant during the following reservation times (open - sunset) or add electronic blinds that could be lowered on a remote possibly. A person on oxygen in our party became very overheated and barely made it to the elevator before she had to sit down and cool off to breathe a little better.
Overall, being together, making the memory and our service were Top Notch!

Thank You,
Michelle Florence

This place was absolutely unbelievable! The view alone was stunning and the food was spectacular! 🤤 Our server, Cindy, was so much fun and extremely knowledgeable. I brought my husband and 2 of our children to this place and was blown away by the food, the service and the view. HIGHLY recommend! When you go, ask for Cindy!

We visited Daytona for the day and had dinner at the Top of Daytona! Cindy was our server and she was excellent. We got the lobster Mac and cheese and the market catch, which was a herb crusted yellow tail grouper. I’m very sad that I can get the grouper again because I love so far! I wish I lived closer so I could order it twice a week. It was delicious. Very happy and impresses with Chef. Would highly recommend for a splurgey date night. Thanks again!

This was my second visit to Top of Daytona — my first experience back in early 2024 was great, so I decided to return last week with a friend who was visiting from out of town.

Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. We went for dinner, and the food was underwhelming, especially considering the price point (over $50 per entrée). What made it worse was the lack of flexibility — there were no options to substitute the sides, and our server told us, “The chef doesn’t really allow it,” which felt a bit rigid for a restaurant that presents itself as fine dining. Also the presentation as well as the taste was not up to what I had in my mind from my first experience.

To top things off, as we were leaving, we witnessed a server stop another guest and ask them to add a tip to their bill. It was an awkward and uncomfortable moment, especially since we had chosen this place to impress our guest. It left a negative final impression on what was already a mediocre evening.

Cristiano was our server and he was excellent. He explained the menu well while also answering the many questions we had. Cristiano also provided my partner and I with some laughs through conversation which allowed our visit to seem very comfortable. We ordered an appetizer, 2 meals, two desserts and 2 drinks while never feeling rushed to leave but also cristiano checking in on us to make sure we had everything. The restaurant was clean while also accommodating us to a view of the city and the ocean while not originally planned. I highly recommend this place for couples for a date night like I did for myself and my partner.

Sprung for Thanksgiving, terrible. Cold food, not even close to fresh. A party of 8 we were. I won't be back ever. Asked to see manager, they never came out. Emailed and messaged management after arriving home, no response since. Just amazing...lesson learned. We had been her before and enjoyed it. No more and no more recommendations from us

The view is the only thing going for this place. Server we had was weird and service in general was not very good. Food straight up terrible from menu selection to arrangement and presentation to taste and quality. Sad, could be a cool place to come enjoy a decent meal in Daytona but instead its just another tourist traps one time use places

This hidden gem in Daytona is amazing. I had my 50th birthday celebration here and the food service and restaurant gave everything I needed to make my celebration special. Special thanks to Nick who assisted me from the beginning with planning my party till the end. He was so polite and professional ❤️❤️

Celebrated our daughter’s birthday this evening and we indulged in an incredible dinner at Top of Daytona, perched in the tallest building in town. The service was flawless, the ambiance elegant, and the breathtaking views of the city and coastline truly set the stage for an unforgettable evening.

We started our meal with two stellar appetizers: the Brûlée Brie & Prosciutto—a perfect balance of creamy, savory, and sweet—and the Blue Cheese Mussels, which were a bold and flavorful delight.

For our entrees, we savored:
🥩 The perfectly cooked 8 oz Filet Mignon, paired with tender, buttery scallops.
🐟 The melt-in-your-mouth Chilean Sea Bass that was as delicate as it was flavorful.
🌿 The chef’s special—an extraordinary Filet Mignon with Chimichurri—a dish that was both hearty and fresh.

We ended the night on a high note with the decadent Grand Marnier Crème Brûlée, its silky custard and caramelized sugar crust the perfect finale to a flawless meal.

If you’re looking for an elevated dining experience (literally and figuratively), Top of Daytona is a must-visit!
