There were two negatives. One, they would not let you substitute biscuits and gravy for the waffle on the all star breakfast when any other one I've ate at always has. Two, they do not offer military discount and thos was the first time that a waffle house wouldn't do that.

You know how it is when nostalgia gets the best of you. You remember how good a place was way back in the day then years later you get a chance to go back and it was not as good? We had breakfast at Waffle House in Daytona Beach today. It was the absolute opposite. The food was actually better than I remember. Great staff, great food, amazing coffee.
