Wow! Such a quiet place, the best lunch I’ve had in a while. We ordered the Pretzle bratt, and lemon rice soup. Excellent! The food is filling. The place is small however, they have outside seating. We will have to come for dinner on Friday or Saturday, must call ahead. Service is great there was only two people working the kitchen. A must if you are ever in the area!
I called ahead for a loaf of sour dough bread then drove to Bakery for coffees and pastries, bread was not put into oven in a timely manner and we waited an additional 30 minutes for bread. Owner apologized for not telling the baker to put it in the oven earlier. When we arrive home and cut into bread it was not completely baked and was very doughy in the center. Today we had the best apple Strudel made with organic apples from their garden. Utmost delicious! I have not had such a good apple Strudel since I left Germany 15 years ago.Lilly and her husband are hard working people who bake theirown German bread. Espresso is excellent like in Italy.High end bakery, very very clean. If you see bakeries on the counter top it is because they came fresh from the oven and have to cool down.
