“After getting my Sunday chores finished, I hit up my nearby wishlist and got Baked & Loaded. I've seen advertisements on Facebook and it's a fun interior with a bar and punching machine. I showed up a tad early at 11:45am and it was empty but I see great potential on later visits, especially during a sports game! I ordered take-out. The server asked if it was my first time and gave me a breakdown of the menu -- he advised that the Chile Spud is the most popular. This was a fluffy potato that he lightly mashed together with some butter, homemade meat chili, cheddar cheese, chives, jalapeños, and bacon. I went with the combo which came with a drink and your choice of corn or soup. He buttered up that corn nicely. Great place to stop by on lazy Sundays but not so much on busy weekday afternoons. Cravings for baked potatoes depend really on the SoFlo weather. On point with cool, dreary and rainy days... not so much in the summer though. They'd be slammed and happening in Wisconsin or any northern college town!“

“I got the Spring Ting Platter and I was so delighted. The Mac and cheese is one of the best I've ever had and the jerk chicken had a crunchy skin to it that gave so much texture. The staff is very welcoming and the atmosphere is comforting. The juices are also unique and great. It is a little pricey, but so with it. It was delicious and filling. I will definitely be coming back. This is what soul food should be!“

“I had the Best of Both Worlds sandwich!!! My husband had a basic grilled cheese. Both were beyond amazing Lee and his staff bent over backwards to make sure we were happ. They gave our little Havamalt Zoe’s bacon too!! All I can say is 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ They even give you a little side of tomato soup for dipping plus tator tots and cheese sauce. Lots of amazing choices on the menuParking: Tons of parking“

“Being allergic to dairy it was such a relief to go to a restaurant that tells u what is V, Veg, GF. So helpful for those of us with restrictions. Went with a friend who has none and she enjoyed her choices too. Wd definitely go back. Our waitress was outstanding! She was so good that we asked to speak to the manager to tell her what a gem she was. In Boca if u praise ur server, they get a free meal! I wish I remembered her name. It began with an M and she's also a college student ?“

“The ambience and decor is outstanding. The service is great and the live music was enjoyable. The cocktails were really good, we had the lychee martini and her name is violet. They have local draft beers, I had Cigar City maduro which was bomb. We started with apps, deviled eggs & blue crab beignets which were phenomenal. The entrees is reason I gave 4 stars. I had the chicken with a side of collard greens. While the chicken was well cooked & moist it lacked soul (not much seasoning). Same goes for the greens, bitter and really needed more seasoning. Wifey had the shrimp and grits and again it was cooked well but lacked seasoning. Overall had a good night out.“
