First of all I received a warm welcome as I walked through the doors from the courteous and polite staff. The food (Red peas soup and Oxtails was on point. ???? not to mention how clean the restaurant was I was very impressed. A definite 5 Star recommend

Good food, but the skinny girl at the counter here at the military trail location is stingy with the brown stew chicken and the plantains, she fills up the plate with rice, and then gives you ONE little slice of fried plantain and 3 little pieces of chicken with bearly any meat in them just bones. Been to a lot of other locations in miami gardens,Oakland park, etc. And the specials were more balanced, 4, 5 little pieces of chicken and 2 plantains always.

I come to this location every time I am in the area for work. Usually get the oxtails to go for my wife and I. Usually the food is well balanced with flavor and spice. Location is extremely clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and keeps everything to high expectations.
