Lucky Lou's Raw Bar is a recently opened restaurant located right near Deerfield Beach, down a popular strip next to an affordable parking garage. It is within walking distance to shops, other night life, the pier, and the beach. The restaurant looks very open and inviting, with a great ambiance. It is clean and offers both indoor and great outdoor beach seating.

The food and drinks are incredible and very well made. Specific dishes include the blackened salmon, which is super delicious, and the blackened chicken sandwich with candied bacon. The steak frites comes medium rare with a cream mushroom sauce and parm fries; it is cooked perfectly and is a favorite. The shrimp scampi can have shrimp that is slightly undercooked. Soups include the lobster bisque, which has a rich flavor but no chunks of lobster, and the Taco Soup, which is interesting and gives chili vibes. Appetizers include an excellent, fresh, and flavorful poke appetizer. The ceviche appetizer can have a surprisingly small portion. Salads are huge and affordable.

The service is excellent, wonderful, attentive, friendly, and helpful. Staff handle everything professionally. The atmosphere is very nice, making it a fun place to sit back, relax, and people watch. On weekends it can be pretty busy, but seating is often immediate. Live music is a bonus. Overall, it is an all around good experience with great food, great drinks, and excellent service, making it a place customers would definitely return to.
