Its a small bare bones place but that didnt turn me off. The owner is a friendly guy that made me feel welcomed and valued. I had a problem with the actual product- food. Fries were good but the cheesesteak sandwich was not good! The portion size was small. No chopped, grilled veges on top. They were chopped up very small and mixed into the grilled meat(?) The taste was ok… not great, too greasy. And toi expensive. If you're looking for looking for a traditional Philly...

This place has been a favorite of mine since I was in high school. The food is simply amazing. I had the pleasure of meeting the new owner, who has been in the business for a while now. Although I knew the old owners, I was pleasantly surprised by his incredible work. If you ever find yourself in Deland, be sure to stop by you will not be disappointed. I always get the steak and cheese all the way

I’ve been going to this restaurant since I was a kid. My first sandwich was in 1995 and a few days ago I stopped by. Honestly it’s been a few years but we said let’s stop. I’m sorry I don’t remember the new owner name. People I’m telling you best steak and cheese sandwich I’ve ever had in my life best steak and cheese sandwich ever come out of that restaurant since 1995
