We called ahead and specifically asked if you had gluten-free items on your menu we were told you did so we chose your location only to find out that in fact you didn't have anything from gluten-free. Food was disappointing,

Dietary restrictions: Despite advertised on website and confirmed when called, there were no gluten free options. One person in our party was not able to have breakfast

EVERY time we come here we have to send back our coffee because the cups have old coffee stains & sometimes it's on the place you put your mouth on. Also old food on the utensils. Are they ever going to clean their windows? Our waiter Travis was GREAT for sure. He took everything with a smile & delivered great service.
Now the food, bacon was not crispy as ordered had to reorder it. The hash browns were brown so that was good. I think the cooks don't read what the servers write on the ticket, they seem to be on auto mode & cook the meal the same way they always do & get it out fast. I'd rather wait 5 min longer & get it right the first time. Why do restaurants butter your toast only in the middle? Again a little more time will make a big improvement.
If they keep going this way they may go down the same path as the last Denny went here in town.
I know we go back every once in a while to see if there's been any improvement, not too much so far.

UPDATE: It has become even worse. We will not be coming back! Every bit of our Super Slam was pure grease. They don't clean their pans/grills before they cook something else on them. So, you have part of what was on that pan/grill on your food. Like in my "bottom" pancake you could see the bits of other boods on it. Gee, I wonder why they put it as the bottom pancake. The hashbrowns were totally greasy as we're the bacon. We had to use the napkins to dry them up. My wife didn't evern eat her hashbrowns. This Denny's is going in the same direction as the previous one we had here in DeLand, FL. They had to close down. This one is on life support now. The only good of our visit was the young lady that was our waitress. But that was it. Not good food at all. What has happened to the mgmt of Denny's to let things go like that & not look into it? I took some pictures but I can't post them because they are on my phone & I can't transfer them here to post. On those pictures you can really see all the grease. Too bad Denny's, I don't see a good future ahead unless someone takes it & does what needs to be done & be a successful restaurant like they used to be.

Today 3/21/2025 we placed and order at roughly 7:30pm for the salted caramel pancakes, and a triple burger.

Here’s the problem

1: when we got the food my food which was the pancakes didn’t even have the caramel sauce or the sweet cream. And they forgot my breakfast potatoes and eggs. Wife called to complain they said they would remake the order so we went back a second time. And got the order they forgot my breakfast potatoes AGAIN! And the pancakes tasted burnt.

2: my wife’s burger with very specific notes said nothing on it but cheese and yet the burger patties where way over cooked and had barbecue sauce on it.

What part of plain nothing but cheese indicates to put a sauce on it?

they don’t even have an excuse as to why because all 3 times we where there. They had maybe 2 customers that entire time so they wherent busy.

Went in the third time to get a refund and lo and behold there isn’t even a manager on duty. Lady who helped me was nice though, she even called the manager who then sent her to voicemail and texted her who didn’t even reply.

I am definitely going in tomorrow to speak with the manager and calling corporate on Monday. This is ridicules and highly unprofessional.

Unprofessional staff, I got my food to go, I didn't even eat my food after the way the cook was behaving. I will not be returning to this location.

Before we sat the waitress told us there were no pancakes. Ok we can live with that. After we were seated a customer came up to us and told us they don't have bread. Ok almost a deal breaker but I was starving so we stayed. We got our drinks then ordered food. My husband got his meal. I patiently waited, we weren't in a hurry. My husband was almost finished with his meal. I approached the waitress and asked where my food was. She saidi thought you were gonna share. I WAS LIVID!!!!! I walked out. We travel and I love going to Dennys everywhere. This place was HORRIBLE!!!!

This restaurant is the health departments dream. Not only was it gross, poorly ran. One of the waitresses had her kid there who was running around the restaurant. She also felt very comfortable joining our table. I would not recommend this place. We come to visit family in Deland every year. Sadly we will not be back.

Overall you definitely need a new Cook. When you can't even cook scrambled eggs and there's enough butter to fill a glass full from the hash browns it's time to find a new cook. And the waitress definitely needs training.

Was doing DoorDash and got sent here for a pick up order when I got there only one person was working and there was like 15 people seated. This was like 1 AM. The person who was working said that my DoorDash order would be prepared within 15 to 20 minutes so I waited 15 to 20 minutes, I went back inside and I asked about the order. She said that she still hadn’t started the order like are you serious? She said she would start the order now Then proceeded to get all of the people in the dining room refills on their drink I had no faith that she would actually start the order so I had to unassigned from it. All of this could been prevented if she would’ve given me a realistic expectation on how long it was actually gonna take her instead of just lying. And I could’ve saved myself from wasting about 40 minutes of my time to not even get paid because she never made the food. Seems like they need to have more people working there.
