“Urban Brick - DeLand, FL I've been in the restaurant business for over 40 years, and I don't often write reviews -- but Urban Brick really deserves one! I've been here several times now, and every visit has been fantastic. The food is absolutely amazing -- full of flavor and clearly made with care. They're known for their Italian dishes, and as someone who once owned an Italian restaurant myself, I can honestly say they're doing it right. The service is excellent too -- friendly, attentive, and genuine. Last night I had the Spaghetti Bolognese, which was just perfect. My cousin had the catch of the day and said it was incredible. We finished with the tiramisu, and it was the perfect ending to a great meal. Huge thanks to whoever runs this wonderful place. You're doing an outstanding job. Can't wait to come back!“

“This one is tricky. The food is good. A little pricey, but good. The service is almost always friendly, and it is a regular stop for us. I really like the meatballs and spaghetti. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about but you are there for the food. We've never eaten in, always take out because it gets crowded and difficult to get a table. The take out can take a LONG time, so if that's the plan call well ahead of when you plan on eating.

“We are locals and have eaten here often. We ordered a delivery order and we didn’t get our tea. I know it’s only tea but it was almost 5$ so I called to see if I could get a refund. They were so apologetic and sweet and I talked to three people and all were just so nice about a little tea. They refunded it to my card with no issues. Just super nice customer service!“

“My wife and I visited Sinatra's last night for dinner and Dueling Pianos. We arrived about 5.30pm, in time for happy Hour. I had Canneloni with a meatball side. My wife ordered Chicken Piccata. Both of our meals arrived in about 20 minutes. Flavors, service and presentations were all great, and reasonably priced, especially considering since they provided live entertainment. There are 3 pianos set up together with rope lighting, surrounded by glass countertops and a bar with about 15 seats. We lasted about 90 minutes at our table. Other customers needed to be seated for dinner, so Alexis, our Server, kindly moved us to a few vacant seats at the bar. The piano players entertained us with songs from the 40's to recent times, many of which were customer requests. We had an amazing time, absolutely amazing. Sinatra's is a gem of entertainment and fun, hidden in a quiet community at the Cassadega Hotel. It gets crowded, so call about 30 minutes ahead for seating. We will be back.“

“Open air dining at its finest. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and professional. These subs are better than our favorite restaurant back home. The bread is delicious. The toppings are delicious and if they keep what they have they will enjoy their popularity for a long time.“

The Italian sub toasted is also very good topped with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and onion and served with a delicious cup of Italian dressing on the side. Service was excellent! “I've been in FL for several months and have been hungry for a Detroit style coney hot dog. I've had 5 Guys (yechh . . . and $7 for just a dog), Sam's Club (very good and a bargain) but they're not a Detroit coney. I found ref to B's (located at Lowes Orange City) and tried it today . . . EXCELLENT! I complemented the vendor while leaving a tip saying they were very close to Detroit's except lacked the snap in each bite. (Detroit's use casing weiners) He immediately whipped me up another dog using Sabrett brand Weiner with casing at no charge. It was spot on. I'll be back. Oh yeah, the prices are right too.“

“I never thought of giving Hungry Howie’s pizza a try only because of the name. How good could their pizza be with a name like Hungry Howie’s? Well, how wrong was I for judging the book by its cover. I’m 61 years of age and had never eaten at Hungry Howie’s until a year or so ago, and wow, I have missed out on great tasting pizza and mainly great prices. Hungry Howie’s is my go to pizza for now on, unless I’m in New York.“
