This is the best BBQ, I'd dare say in the state. Everyone is always nice, and the food is always Chefs kiss. I live in port saint lucie and it is a must stop every time I'm in town visiting family
The reviews were true. Food was good served by a smiling waitress. Nothing fancy, country music, chairs and tables. You have to order/pay, get your soda/water and seat to wait for your food. The ribs were juicy, tender and tasty. The mac&cheese was a little dry, the french fries were good, and the garlic bread was a little bit burned to my taste, but my better half loved it.

Found this bbq joint that looks like it use to be an old convenience store. I had the slice pork sandwich... UNBELIEVABLE! so tender and the garlic bread was amazing. Had the collared greens and red potatoes. You need to eat here if you like bbq.

What a delightful surprise in Deland, top notch barbecue with an excellent selection of well crafted sauces.
I absolutely love this food. Took my mom to try it and she took home some food and wants to travel back for it. Portions are huge and so many items to try that keeps you comming back. Almost perfect score as it is warm inside but woth the sweat because the food is that good

Stopped in on Saturday and it was so hot inside it was like they had the heater on. Was not welcomed in by host, she was busy on the phone taking an order. We waited in line while looking at menu. Another woman walked in front of us and up to the register. After 10 minutes we finally left. No one had been helped & another employee from the back had left.

I visited on a Sunday and was blown away by the food and the warm, cheerful atmosphere created by the staff. I was so inspired that I wrote and produced a song for them, which they enjoyed. Dan, the cook, mentioned that the owner would love it and told me to let the owner know that I was promised a free meal. I never asked for this free meal, it was offered.
However, when I returned today to claim the meal, one of the owners rudely refused to honor the offer. I paid for my meal, but the owner’s attitude was so off-putting that I decided to request a refund before the food even arrived and left.
No matter how great the food might be, the unprofessionalism of the ownership makes it impossible for me to recommend this restaurant to anyone.
My husband & I tried their bbq sample plate. Their sliced pork & beef are so delicious & tender!!! I like sweet bbq sauce. Their sweet heat sauce is a perfect blend. Not spicy at all. Just a bit of heat. And their banana pudding is a must!!!! Friendly staff. Clean. Sorry I didn’t take a photo I was starving
