Local Deland Native tried this place for the first time and I have to say the only thing we regret is not trying sooner. We stopped by just a couple minutes before they were closing and just wanted to see what they had inside. The young lady Elisia was such a sweetheart, so helpful and kind. Although we tried to not have her stay past closing, she insisted that we try something and it waa genuinly her pleasure to assist us . We ended leaving with 3 different options ( for 2 people). The butter toffee flavor might be made from the dust from the wings of an angel because it's heaven sent . We will now be returning often.

I remember one day in class a girl told us her family owned and ran this shop. Since that day freshman year I have been coming to the shop, and now I bring my own kids! I love this shop not just because it’s local and a fellow small business, but it is family friendly, and good quality. My husband is a pistachio freak and the pistachio soft serve changed his world! I love all the creative deserts and flavors, and my kids love the claw machine as much as I do lol. 100/10 recommend! Always will be my favorite spot in Deland❤️

Hubby ordered brownie with ice cream and me a brownie with caramel sauce. Super yummy, friendly staff and very clean looking facility. You must be doing something right, as patrons were constantly coming in!! Highly recommend.

My kids & I arrived mid-day to Sweet Spot and realized it was closed & the door was locked. My kids were bummed because we had talked about it all morning. As we were getting in our car, the owner opened the door and waved and told us to come in. She literally let my kids in two hours before they opened just a put smiles on their faces. We are very appreciative of her and her small town business! We’ve always loved their ice cream, but acts of kindness like this make life-long customers! Thank you, Sweet Spot DeLand!
