June 12th at 7:15 pm,we went to waffle house to enjoy our meal. There was only one waitress on duty and she was very short and had a bad attitude. I had a hard time getting my coffee. We walked out!! She didn't give a crap. We were going to spend 40.00 and i always leave a great tip. I just wanted to relax and enjoy dinner. So much for that. I have had much better experiences at that deland location.

Took forever to get food and we were the only ones there! And it came piece by piece, had to ask for everything. Excuse me can I get a teabag for my hot tea? By time it came, the hot water was getting cold, I didn't darevask for a spoon, had to use a straw in my purse for a stirrer. Waffle was offered to us burnt and said do you want it, I didn't think twice and said no. Could not believe she even came over with a waffle like that! The 2 young waitresses were 2 busy on their phones and talking with each other to care. Sadly, this was the 2nd time bad experience at this location. What is going on there?

The value and food portions are fair. The food was really tasteful. The cleanliness could be better. The windows have grease on them and haven’t been cleaned for a while. The server wasn’t very friendly, but she got our order correct and the food was hot. When we arrived the table was dirty. I asked for our table to be cleaned, and she cleaned the table instantly.

We always have a wonderful experience at Waffle House. The wait staff and Cooks everyone in there is always so friendly it's like going home for breakfast. And the food the food is always really really good.

As of Saturday sep 7th 2024 at 3am walked in and two of the cooks were passed out on table. Then manager told us after order and pay we had to wait outside untill the order was done when the lobby was completely empty to begin with. Give these workers terrible customer service and work ethics. Food was rushed.
