Akira Back is definitely a favorite after our incredible experience! Matthew Moll, the Food & Beverage Director for Akira Back, was attentive to us and elevated our experience with detail and generosity. Stella, our waitress, was the best server I’ve ever had. My husband and I were really looking forward to trying Akira Back, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to our expectations. As soon as we walked in, the hostess immediately told us we needed to be out by 8 PM because they had to close the patio due to rain — which, for the record, never happened. That kind of greeting really set the tone, and not in a good way. For a restaurant of this caliber, we expected a higher level of service and hospitality.
