Family owned and operated, it's a tiny spot, where you will see multiple generations of family, who cook and serve you food filled with love.We came in here on a Saturday evening and were the only ones in here at 5:30 PM. The jerk meatballs, the roti with eggplant, the conch fritters… all the appetizers were fantastic. Be prepared for a little bit of heat in your food. The tables are a little bit small, so if you order as much food as we did, you'll have to find a way to figure it out.I'm not a huge fan of vegetarian meals, but I had no idea coconut fried tofu, could be so spectacular. I was blown away, don't be afraid to order this. We also ordered the oxtail, which was so tender, and in a thick brown spicy with a hint of sweet sauce. The curry goat was fall off the bone. Fantastic. Don't worry if you have to keep ordering , bowls and bowls of rice (you will), they are so happy to accommodate.As we went through our dinner, the place started to fill up and it was real nice to see that everybody in here was a regular. Obviously the locals know this place, and may want to keep it a secret, the cats out of the bag. If you like Caribbean food, this is not to be missed. Always looking for a good oxtail recipe and dish, and BFC delivered a great guyanese take on it! It felt like friends were serving us their favorite family recipes, which made it even more special! Lauren (Smiley) and her Father were the sweetest and you can tell they’ve put a lot of heart and soul into the restaurant. ☺️
Divine goat curry!!! And the lamb chops were also yummy!!!! And great service by Smiley & her Dad and ALL others. I would go back again and again!

This spot is incredible. The food here, the welcoming atmosphere, the thoughtful service. As a vegetarian I've had such wonderful food here -- tofu curry, jerk tofu, garbanzo fritos, and eggplant dip are all so delicious. And the rice and plantains that come with the main course are so tasty as well. Get the roti on the side! Don't miss this place, it's a gem.

As I approached this rather unassuming, yet quaintly charming cafe, it’s Caribbean vibe and island feel became quite apparent with its colorful decor. Greeted by Donald, I was seated outside amid the cool night’s air which lends to its relaxing ambience.Each course of the meal presented outdid the one before as myriad tastes literally exploded in my mouth. The meatballs were quite spicy (which I liked), followed by a salad with home-style dressing. My main course which was the braised lamb chops were nicely done to retain the juices, making them very succulent.They were very attentive and the staff kept checking on me, accompanied by light, easy conversation between each service. I’d definitely visit again whenever I’m in Florida. Kudos to Bamboo Fire Cafe - I truly enjoyed the experience.

Bamboo fire is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to!! It’s cozy, and everything on the menu is so delicious. Their j*** pork is so tender and flavorful, and their eggplant dip is a MUST HAVE. I recommend this place to everyone I know, and every time I’ve been there, Smiley always takes care of us! She’s an awesome server and makes the experience much more unique :)
