Hopefully somebody tells you this place exists because you might not find it on your own, which is a damn shame. Family owned and operated, it's a tiny spot, where you will see multiple generations of family, who cook and serve you food filled with love.We came in here on a Saturday evening and were the only ones in here at 5:30 PM. Always looking for a good oxtail recipe and dish, and BFC delivered a great guyanese take on it! It felt like friends were serving us their favorite family recipes, which made it even more special! Lauren (Smiley) and her Father were the sweetest and you can tell they’ve put a lot of heart and soul into the restaurant. ☺️

This spot is incredible. The food here, the welcoming atmosphere, the thoughtful service. As a vegetarian I've had such wonderful food here -- tofu curry, jerk tofu, garbanzo fritos, and eggplant dip are all so delicious. And the rice and plantains that come with the main course are so tasty as well. Get the roti on the side! Don't miss this place, it's a gem.
