Amazing pizza. Absolutely transcended. The quality of ingredients is noticeable. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed and can’t wait to try more of the menu

Pretty sad that they won’t refund an order when accidentally ordering at the wrong location. (Over 30 minutes in the opposite direction and then another 30/45 home) ESPECIALLY when it was straight from the menu, no modifications and they sell the same pizza by the slice when walking in anyway. One pizza and garlic sticks. Never again will I purchase DBP.
People make mistakes and obviously isn’t the first this has happened per other reviews. Provide better customer service and offer to have the correct location make it.
Not everyone can enjoy $50 pizza take out all the time. My significant other was excited to try their place and now loosing out on the experience and $50+.

Outstanding take on Detroit style pies. Worth checking out if you’ve ever tried any of the originals up in Detroit.

Update — Friday, 12/6/25
We finally had a pizza… and OMG, YUMMMMM! We ordered the Rupert Pupkin — fried chicken Milanese, mozzarella, vodka sauce, pecorino, and basil. It’s like a deep-dish-style pie with a rich, buttery crust. The vodka sauce was so good we instantly regretted not ordering an extra side just to dip the pizza in. When we picked it up, we couldn’t even wait to get home… we each sampled a slice in the car, and it was perfect.
We also grabbed a side of wings in the Korean BBQ flavor. They were solid, but we were a little disappointed that they didn’t come with blue cheese or ranch — dips are extra if you want them.
Overall, though, both the pizza and the wings were absolutely delicious.
Death by Pizza is truly that perfect hole-in-the-wall spot you hit when you’re craving a really good pie (they don’t do slices) or a solid sandwich. It’s not a dine-in place — you order, pick it up, and take it home… or you end up eating it on the sidewalk because you’re too greedy to wait. I’ve been there. 😂
Previously, I hadn’t tried their actual pizza yet, but my hubby had — so that was on the agenda for this visit. Before this, we tried the Vodka Parm Fried Chicken à la Vodka Sando (fried chicken Milanese, vodka sauce, mozzarella, and basil on an Italian seeded roll — $19) and the Chicken Parm Sando (fried chicken Milanese, sweet sauce, mozzarella, and basil — $19).
Both sandwiches were really good. Our only complaint? We wanted more sauce to dip them in. We’re greedy — but honestly, that’s just how good they were. 😄

My husband was teasing me about the price and with the first bite he said he understood the cost! We had the barbecue chicken pizza (Leatherface) and it was amazing! If you don’t like spice at all you won’t enjoy it. That was a real Detroit style pizza, and a taste of home for us. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Excellent Detroit style pizza and I'm from Detroit!
Death by Pizza never misses! Their pizza is off the charts delicious every single time — like, dangerously good. The crust, the toppings, the flavor… everything is just perfection. And their weekly specials? Always creative, always mouthwatering, never disappointing. It’s honestly hard to pick a favorite because every visit feels like a new addiction waiting to happen. If you haven’t tried them yet, do yourself a favor — you’ll understand why everyone’s obsessed!

This was a fun visit. Saw a video on TikTok about this place and wanted to try it out. The portions were okay and the food was very good. Had the mozzarella sticks and pesto/vodka gnocchi dish, which were both good. A bit pricer than initially thought, but the food and service was good.

This is the single best Detroit style pizza I have ever had including my trips to Michigan. This place is an absolute hidden gem of south Fl and has earned it. Small footprint walk up only but you don’t wait long and the service is great. Highly recommend the stop if you’re in the area. I’ve been several times and there has yet to be anything short of a fantastic experience. Hot honey or margarita are my personal favorites but you can’t go wrong!

I had the pleasure of trying death by pizza this week at the pick up location ordered a classic pepperoni that was so freaking good had to come and try the dining in location. Oh I’m so glad we did, Daniela our server was five stars no ten stars. We started with the Kobra style wings a perfect combination of savory and sweet then the vodkaroni pizza a twist to a classic pepperoni that was to die for ::no pun intended:: to end the night the cookie al mode yum. So dang happy to have finally tried this spot I can’t recommend it enough will definitely be back with friends and family.
