I had decided to take my friends that were visiting from out of town to this restaurant for a birthday celebration. The service was good however, we were very disappointed with the food as it was extremely salty, and the pasta came out cold. Furthermore, the martinis that were ordered tasted terrible. They were too strong to even be able to enjoy them.

We had lunch here today and ordered two burgers. The ambience and service were excellent, but the food was disappointing. For such a nice restaurant, the ingredients didn’t feel very high quality. The burgers were overly greasy from the meat and cheese, and the tops of the brioche buns were crumbling, which made them seem a bit old. I won't be eating here again.

This property refused access to available handicap parking.
Food is amazing, thanks to the chef. Beef tenderloin was delicious with great flavors. Pizza was perfect for someone loving New York style pizza. Staff was always fantastic, Jessica, Kelly, Makayla. John the manager really cares about people and food. Also, open to suggestions. Thanks for making our stay at the opal grand great.

This hotel restaurant feels cozy and welcoming, yet still very elegant. The prices are surprisingly reasonable, and it has everything you’d expect from a great spot — just without the over-the-top “space burgers.” Instead, they’ve brought new life to classic dishes. My smoked mozzarella and mushroom burger was absolutely delicious. The cocktail list is also impressive — every drink feels balanced and thoughtfully made. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel comfortable and a little spoiled at the same time.

The atmosphere is fantastic and design of the restaurant is very appealing. On the other hand, the food was extremely lackluster. My Steak Frites was cooked wrong and the steak was tough as jerky and served at room temperature. The Mushroom pizza was probably the highlight of the night and could've been made by a frozen California Pizza Kitchen pizza and I wouldn't have known the difference. Icing on the cake was the valet. They validated your parking with a complimentary $10 an hour rate. Spend two hours at dinner, and you're paying $20 to eat. I am not using the valet to bar hop. I am eating at a restaurant that helps finance the hotel's operation. A patron shouldn't be subject to paying a parking fee if they are eating at the restaurant. If the Opal needs to use the valet revenue to keep the lights on, their going to have a lot less people frequent this restaurant.

Beautiful high end hotel with restaurant in bohemian style. Classy delicious. The only problem is they don’t have gluten free options. Waiting for them to update their menu.

Great happy hour great service, drinks, appetizers. We had the tuna and hummus, both were great. Came again for a birthday party and we had the brunch this time and the veggie scramble was mostly potatoes. Everything else was great.

Restaurantji Recommends
Went to Drift for my birthday and recieved excellent service from the valet, to the host and my server was excellent. She gave great recommendations, very attentive, but cannot remember her name :(. I had the cocojito whixh was nice to start the night. I had the skillet foccacia with the parm fondue uff and the blueberry butter just hit great! The drift burger was great but realized it has 3 types of onions onion marmalade, red onion, and crispy onions. The red onion not necessary very tasty! Overall had a fantastic time Highly recommended

Gorgeous interior design, great location. You walk in, and the ambience puts you at ease immediately. Unfortunately, the food did not follow suit. I ordered the bone in ribeye, medium rare, and although the presentation was stunning, it got to me medium well, so I asked for it to be sent back as it was very overcooked, and the server seemed displeased with me. It took quite a awhile to receive a new steak, delivered by a different waiter, which was cooked properly this time, but possibly because I didn't want to eat their overcooked steak, they decided to entirely forgo the rosemary garlic butter it was supposed to be cooked in, not even any salt, so just bland meat flavor, and unfortunately everyone else at my table had finished eating, so I ate about half of my steak and had the rest packed up to go as to not hold up the group dinner. Did not see our waiter for a good amount of time since the steak was sent back, and we were instead helped by Elisha who was rather friendly, but we didn't get refills for a bit. We all ordered the key lime bar, and were told they use the same recipe as the location in Key West, and we were upset to see it was really just a lime based lemon meringue pie with a very heavy crust instead of a light, flaky crust as is standard in the keys. No creaminess to the lime whatsoever, just the same type of filling you'd get in a meringue pie. The raspberry sauce with the key lime bar was bitter and sour as if the raspberries they used had gone bad, and the whipped cream was definitely Kool whip and left the trademark oily film in your mouth. For a nearly $60 steak and a nearly $200 bill for just one of my friends and I, I would hope you'd have better quality, but I was terribly mistaken. I'd recommend you skip this one, and take your money elsewhere, I certainly will next time I'm in the area.

We went here for a late lunch and also a Sunday brunch. Andre and Chelsea were great. The flat bread was surprisingly one of the best pizzas in South Florida. My only negative was the forgetting of my beer and a slowness about the food coming out. Also, bar TVs with sports in the middle of such a lovely hotel restaurant. Beautiful decor and two excellent private glass dining rooms. The brunch is actually an excellent value at 45 a person because you get so much plus a buffet carving station!
