“We had a wonderful experience celebrating a birthday. Our server Connor gave great recommendations. The tuna pizza and the 48-hour short ribs were faves, but the miso black cod was also insane. Truly everything was superb from the cocktails, to the saki to the dessert. We will definitely be back! Note that it is a very cheery atmosphere so it can be loud. I have pictures but can’t seem to add them to the review.“

“My favorite meal at Yama is....well, there are so many. Like Yakitori, Nigiri Tasting, Tuna Tartare, Special Yama roll, 2nd on 2nd roll, Chirashi, Spicy Pork Bulgogi then wash it down with a Lychee Martini. 🙌😋🙂“

The waitress with dark hair is amazing! Always a good experience with her. Not gonna lie, the rest of the servers have been not the nicest, or made it very obvious when they’re annoyed you’re there. However, they are normally high school/ college aged so that comes with that age as most of us are very entitled at that age lol and don’t realize that sometimes people going out to eat is a luxury and they don’t deserve to feel unwelcome just because you want to clock out .
I do not think that reflects the restaurant as a whole by any means, but I can see how it makes the experience uncomfortable for some people and is the only thing I would recommend maybe having a conversation about. This restaurant is amazing and it really can turn people away to be treated that way and I think this place deserves to have the most business possible!
With that aside, Tacowa is amazing and I would recommend it 100% to anyone! I am glad I found it(:“

“me and my husband went there last night, it was so nice of you guys service! we were staying at the hotel next door and decided to go have dinner here. I asked for A1 steak sauce because my husband wanted it for his meat and so kind of all staff went and got it for us. thank you so much for your service mind doing this for us. will be back if we have a chance to come around here again“
