Ambiance, especially outside, very nice. Service- not enough wait staff to cover the tables. Food, OK, but $13. for two "steak" empanadas? Limited menu. Other restaurants to try before returning.
I came back with friends for dinner Saturday evening. I joined the Neighborhood Perk & was again treated like a rockstar. Curtis, our waiter was friendly, engaging & exceptional. It was a beautiful night. We sat outdoors on the side garden. The high top chairs were a little difficult to maneuver. Novecento opened last year in the Falcon House a historic 1925 building with a rich past as a pharmacy for the Falcon family. It became popular bars & restaurants like the original Falcon House party space, Max's Social House, Death or Glory, before it's revival as "The Falcon". I started with a lychee, gin and tonic. My handmade artichoke spinach empanada was very flavorful and had an interesting delicious sauce inside. Friends enjoyed the chicken and steak empanadas as well. The wedge salad was cold crispy and perfect. Friends enjoyed their Caesar as well. For dinner we had a delicious juicy steak cooked to perfection with roasted potatoes. Our dessert was amazing dolce de Leche crêpe with ice cream, cream and whip whipped cream on top that was enough for four of us.
The skirt steak was perfect, spinach was fresh; Waiter and waitress were friendly; a little slow on service but overall good experience
Good food. Service was good after manager relunctantly allowed us to move to a quieter area of the restaurant; away from the bathroom door.
Maybe the rave reviews set our expectations a little too high, but credit where it's due: the building is beautiful, the service was good, and the food was fantastic. The bar was excellent and the cocktails were great, we would definitely come back just for drinks. That said... we upgraded to asparagus for an extra $3–$4 and received what can only be described as a decorative asparagus.
Overly salty and quite disappointing. Very nice manager, but sadly the food missed the mark big time.
Great newish addition to the Delray dining scene. We loved it! I was celebrating my birthday and it was so nice to have a delicious meal I can eat because I have many food intolerances. The skirt steak is amazing and you must get the red sangria! Next time I am trying the white. Our waiter was perfect! Very good and we will be back!
Restaurant has an 18% service charge Took 2 hours to obtain our dinner Waiter was apologetic and not his fault. Worst customer care ever.
We went on Christmas Day. Our waiter was totally unseasoned and the restaurant was ill prepared to handle Christmas Day. Service was crazy slow and many mistakes were made. Food was excellent. I will give them another chance.
The experience was good eating good dishes but about steaks they ask you rare medium or well done. If you reply rare or medium they will bring you a steak we'll done and was not a mistake because my wife also ordered a steak medium and was well done. Next surprise was when we asked for the bill. It came with a built in 18% tip. We asked why and the reply was that on the bottom of the menu in very small letters was written the cost include a 18% not negotiable tip. With the dimmed dark ambiance you cannot see this kind of writing. Disgusting abuse to make few more dollars.

One of the worst restaurants in Delray Beach. Would not recommend. The Bartender with inexperienced and locked bartending skills, basic drinks, such as a martini and a margarita were a challenge for her. Drinks had to be removed several times. The manager stepped in and tried to assist, but still lackluster. The steak was almost inedible, tough, chewy and lacking in flavor. The highlight and only highlight of this meal was the beef empanadas. Save your money and make a reservation at another dining establishment.
Service was terrible. We waited 15 minutes for drinks and almost 25 minutes before we got bread. Food was good but over priced. We won't be back.
I have no idea why I haven't come to this place sooner. There isn't one thing bad I can say about this place. Jack was our waiter and he was fantastic. I think I had the best skirt steak I've ever had in my life. The mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables were so tasteful. I don't think you can get better drinks anywhere to be honest.
It's always great fun and food at Novecento. The prices are right. The staff is terrific. Make it your go to spot!
All of the food was extremely salty. The salad had way too much dressing. The salad dressing was not desirable.
