We ate outside and it was nice. Food came out hot and quick. Most of the food were a 5, the pork was good but a bit salty. Overall it's a nice neighborhood spot for a quick and inexpensive experience
I was very disappointed because they didn't have the dishes that I order anymore and it was only 6:30 pm.
Every single thing we ordered tasted great!
Grace was a great server. Will come back!

We had reservations to sit outside, but still had to wait quite a while to get seated. Put us at a table next to the door which opened and closed over and over and then moved one table over which is great. Order two appetizers to start. One came out fairly quickly and the other one didn't come out for over an hour and a half. When it finally came out, it was so late that we didn't want to order any more dinner. Our waiter was great, but the service otherwise was not. Very disappointed. Heard great reviews. Asked for the manager to come over and they never sent them.
We had high hopes for the Paella Valencia but were disappointed as the seafood and chicken were all overcooked. The rice was good. Our appetizer was fried calamari and it was chewy. The Paloma should have been stirred or served with a straw. The tequila was on the bottom of the drink. Desserts were tasty Tres Leche cake and chocolate cake. Now our server was Shaina (sp?) and she was great! She comped our desserts since the paella was dry. Conversation with her was pleasant and friendly. She was attentive without intruding. Shaina told us to ask for her the next time we visit and she would make sure our paella was done correctly. Did I mentioned what a great server she was? Papa's Tapas has a lively atmosphere but not so loud that you couldn't have a conversation.
Every dish I have had here has been excellent but they made a lifelong customer in me with the seafood paella! It is to die for! I have been here twice and absolutely love it!

I have been to papa tapa multiple times from dining in to take out. First off the staff is incredible from Lorenzo making sure I have what I need to grace making a hell of a drink. I love the open area to see the fire from the chefs. When I was there Saturday night my wife and I got the Pulpo, Gumbas, and the pulpo la gallega which were all fantastic. Highly recommended this place. Can’t wait to come back again.

I’ve had great experience dining, today I ordered takeout and either the chef is new or takeout is not recommended. Ordered the pulpo à la gallega it had no flavor, the potatoes were bland and the pulpo had no flavor and rubbery. The patatas bravas were also not great had a cheesy sauce not the usual. Unfortunately all dishes purchased we’re underwhelming. We won’t be ordering take out again.

Shrinkflation alert: Portions are getting smaller and smaller. Prepare to stop somewhere on the way home for an additional snack. When you use their handheld machine to pay with your credit card and as soon as you stick your credit card into the machine, the amount that is displayed on the machine will go up (I am assuming this is a surcharge for using your card). The main page states that the meals are in the $20 to $30 range. Unless you only have an appetizer, you will pay more. Although this is not the venue's fault, there is now a parking fee of $2.50 per 30 mins PLUS at 18% convenience charge and 8% taxes. Having all the sympathies for this business, the nickeling and diming is getting out of hand and destroys the experience.

We heard about Papa's Tapas from inKind. We had never heard about this restaurant before. We had a wonderful meal here. I love tapas and Papa's Tapas did a very nice job. We had several small plates. Calamari, Plantains, Octopus, Brussels Sprouts. Our server Leonardo made our visit a positive experience. We will be back.

It's a place i've been going for many years and love the food and it's reasonably priced. for new years was overbooked with reservations and a little disorganized but we turned out to have a great time after all.
They literally ruined our New Year's Eve. Our reservation was for 9:45 pm, but when we arrived, there were tons of people waiting outside since 8 pm for seats, even with reservations. They offered us the option of sitting outside, but how can you eat outside in the cold with no heating and so many people crowding around you? Imagine a family of five with a child trying to find somewhere to have dinner and celebrate at 10 pm, after having made plans and a reservation.
