This spot is my preferred one. I eat in plenty of restaurants but to this one I go the most. The crew is very affectionate and the food they serve is so appetizing. I would always prefer to have a nice meal in this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Went several times and were disappointed. Saw that Robert Irvine on restaurant Impossible featured Taverna Trela on his show. Creating a new menu and a much improved interior. So we decided to try it again. Vast improvement but I guess with COVID, they just couldn’t hang on.

While we were excited to try the food after the restaurant makeover we were shocked to find the covid take out menu online was not the same menu used at the restaurant - an issue they were aware of, yet did not alert you to, at the time of placing the order nor picking up. Then the spinach pie was overcooked and too salty. Very disappointing.

Stopped by tonight on the way home to take out, there was 1 outside table occuped and 1 inside table occupied and 1 young lady sitting at the bar. I placed my order to go and turn around to notice the young lady sitting at the bar had taken her mask off, but okay so I placed myself far apart from her while I waited for my order. I then looked into the kitchen to see the gentleman preparing food in the kitchen did not have his mask on, I looked away thinking he just needed a brief breather from his mask. I walked away for a minute and came back to find him busily preparing food yet still without his mask on. I promptly cancelled my order and got my money back since I didn't want to support a restaurant that is not following the rules and guidelines and therefore is not a safe place

We live close by, go there often but we were disappointed today. We did a take out today. When order was picked up one of the entrees was left behind so called & had to drive back to get it. Then we ordered 3 extra orders of tzatziki sauce & none was included.
We love this place!!!! Wonderful service and delicious food. Great place to dine! Highly recommend to all! Can't wait to come back! :)

This is the worse place ever. Dirty. Service is horrendous, they don’t know the word “customer service”. They have a new waitress and has no idea how to serve a meal then charges our bill incorrectly. Never got an orzo soup I ordered and they didn’t have the lamb chops (4) as on the menu. Waited 40 mins for a meal to be served with only 2 tables occupied in the entire place, are you kidding me? With the economy the way it is right now, you better off closing your doors.

Just picked up a takeout order. Everything was delicious. Staff was pleasant & friendly. My Dad was from Greece & grew up eating Greek. The orzo was perfect as as the chicken. One of my favorite places to eat in Delray Beach

DO NOT EVEN GO THERE!!...THEY RAN OUT OF GYRO MEAT!!....I WAITED ONE HOUR FOR TWO SIMPLE GYROS TO GO...EVERYTHING WAS WRONG!!.....THEY FORGOT TO INCLUDE THE FRENCH FRIES, THE BILL WAS WRONG,, I ASKED FOR NO RAW ONIONS AND NO SAUCE.NATURALLY, THAT DID NOT HAPPEN!! ....THEY HAVE NO CHEF, AND AND ARE ON THEIR WAY OUT....AND......MY WIFE FOUND A *****DEAD LARGE ROACH IN THE FOOD!!.......DO NOT WANT MY MONEY BACK.....CLOSE AND LEAVE!! DONE!!...DISASTER!! NO EXCUSE!! OWNER DOES NOT CARE!!! SHAME!!.......

My only question is: why did they move from a nice intimate small place , to a huge money pit? They were fine before the move. Bigger is not better. There must be a reason??? Delishious authentic Greek food, since the change from Robert Irvine!
