My favorite meal at Yama is....well, there are so many. Like Yakitori, Nigiri Tasting, Tuna Tartare, Special Yama roll, 2nd on 2nd roll, Chirashi, Spicy Pork Bulgogi then wash it down with a Lychee Martini. 🙌😋🙂

Best Japanese food we have ever had! Most delicious sushi rolls ever! Excellent service. We are so glad we found this little gem. Far more better than the high end Japanese restaurant across the street which is a part of The Ray

Perfect place for lunch. The lunch special is a good amount served with soup or Salad. Also, they have the best fried rice in the world. Basil fried rice.

The service is great, the atmosphere is authentic and whoever is sourcing and preparing the fish is masterful at their work.
A friendly spot with the best, freshest fish in the area.

Worst Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to. First time there two weeks ago. Played it safe by ordering the fried rice. Beef in fried rice was like chewing shoe leather but how can chicken be just as tough unless it’s freezer burned chicken they bought from a supplier looking to get rid of it. Horrible restaurant, live & learn.

I am so pleasantly surprised! Almost shocked!!! They are across the street from Akira Back and have better sushi. ?

Friendly staff and cute location with lots of indoor and outdoor seating.

The Toro tuna ? is perfect! I want more.
Volcano roll with baked spicy Kani was delicious! Yum!
Spicy Yama roll was greatness!
Great hamachi jalapeño.
Loved the chicken teriyaki. Legitimately loved! Wasn’t just the regular but instead it felt like it was actually grilled.
Tom yum soup if you’re in the mood for spicy soup. ?

Street parking and also garage parking.

Big fan! We’ll be back!

Came here for dinner tonight with my sister and two dogs and received such amazing service! The staff was incredibly friendly with our pups and our server (I forgot her name unfortunately but I hope she sees this) was so personable and exceptional. We had the pad thai and panang curry which were delicious and we can’t wait to come back!!
