This is one of the worst tourist traps I have visited in the last 5 years. The food isn't traditional Japanese, and the place is run by very dishonest Japanese servers. If you order an appetizer that also has a full meal option, they will charge you for the full meal instead of the appetizer you ordered. Be aware that this is a new scam going on in Florida. They will also charge a group tip even if you're not with a group, just because there was a group of people eating at that time. The beer is served at room temperature, with a room temperature mug to make it even warmer. There is only one type of dressing for the salad, and the chirashi is $10 more than the average price around. This place is nothing but a total tourist trap that I will never return to. đŸ’©đŸ’©

Absolutely horrible service we got there before there was a rush and even then it was slow service. As the place started to fill in we were lucky if we could get anyone’s attention. I literally had to get up twice and go find a server. When we finally did get our food (incorrectly but at that point we just wanted to eat), the quality was mediocre at best. I’ve had super market sushi taste better and cost less than what they put together. It’s very rare for me to give a negative review but this one was so disappointing. The sound quality in there is also horrible. It gets extremely loud in a way that makes you anxious and have to yell. You step outside and you’re just happy to be out of there.

Very mediocre, food was ok really nothing to brag about didn’t take any pictures, hot sake was good , prices on the website didn’t match, the menu was about 20% higher, skip this place, plenty of other places to go to

Nice spot for sushi and some hot dishes. The sushi specials are especially creative and tasty. Great service and very welcoming vibe overall. Don’t skip on the desserts, they’re phenomenal.

Used to be great sushi , not fresh fish and the roll fell apart to eat . No accommodation for gluten allergy . Salad is extremely small for the price . Don’t recommend this restaurant.

My wife first introduced me to Yama back in 2016, on one of our first dates, and I loved it.

Since then, we have periodically returned, and always received caring service and consistently excellent sushi.

Recently, we marveled at how well-composed the rolls were and how the rice seemed perfect.

They even had a super cool looking sushi boat out for an event, it's like nothing we had ever seen! We can't wait to go back on another date.
