We had a fantastic breakfast at Cracklings! The service was very fast, and the food was excellent from start to finish. Our server, Lyubo, was great—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out just right.
I ordered the gluten-free pancakes made from brown rice flour, added their signature smoked bacon, and two eggs over medium. It was outstanding. The pancakes had great texture and flavor, the bacon was perfectly smoked, and the eggs were cooked exactly the way I like them. My wife ordered the breakfast scramble, which she really enjoyed. It came with home potatoes and an English muffin, and everything was fresh and flavorful.
Despite being a weekend, the wait wasn’t too bad at all. We also really enjoyed the coffee—it was the perfect complement to a great meal. We’ll definitely be back!

This was our 2nd time to eat here for breakfast and if I could give it 6 stars I would. I got the Praline Pecan pancakes and there is magic in them! Wife got the Crabcake Benny and raved about how good it was. It’s a simple place but will keep you coming back. It was the ONLY restaurant we visited twice on our trips!!

We have eaten at breakfasts spots in multiple states and had some very good food, but this is the very best we have had. The food portions were very large, the service was fast and our waiter, Ivan, did a great job being attentive but not hovering over us. It is a little pricey, but for the amount of food you get plus the quality, it’s well worth it. If you’re visiting Destin, I highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful little brunch spot. The Eggs Blackstone was delicious. There is not a much better feeling than cutting into a poached egg and then watching the yolk ooze onto a toasted English Muffin. Even the potatoes tasted terrific and were fried crispy on the outside and soft and starchy on the inside. The hostesses, waitress and dining area has great vibes and good service. I did feel a little under-dressed after seating wearing only my gym attire but I'll know better next time.

Breakfast at The Crackings was a mostly great experience with a little character development. The online waitlist said “patience is a virtue,” even though our table was ready and several others were just… chilling empty. The food was good overall. My avocado toast, however, showed up a little shy on seasoning and could’ve used a pep talk. Still, we enjoyed our meal and would absolutely come back.
