Views of the beach are great and we loved that we can walk straight out. The condo itself could be nice but this owner skimped on the important things--the couches and beds are not comfortable at all, hot water is minimal and the water pressure is terrible. It would have been nice to know that we had to rent their umbrellas to use at the beach; that was an expense we weren't expecting to have all week. Wouldn't stay here again and will be wary of booking through Vacasa.

We stayed in room 1203 Let me start by saying I booked this place thru Vacasa which will never again ! They are just buying random places without knowing anything about them ! Go to pull in and the gate is closed with a code well I never got any messages / email about any code and tried to call number and no answer ! Thank goodness someone was coming out and they gave me the code . Get checked in and head to the room which they did not give me code for I had to call like this was ridiculous they should've sent a email with all code the day of check in ! , nice normal condo kinda a let down they they don't leave you with more than 1 trash bag .. but whatever . The next morning we head out to beach which also has a code on walkway deck I was not giving that code either ! Again thankful for other people helping us out .! We get to beach and set up and they come and make us take down our umbrella apparently you cannot have your own umbrella out there but could rent one for $35 a day ... stupid ! I was not told by anyone on anything ! Email , text , Vacasa , emerald tower website nothing that you could not bring your own umbrella I was livid ! Having 2 kids and 4 adults we need more than one umbrella ! I would not have booked this place if I would've known ... so poor communication on Vacasa all together !! I did go to front desk and complain but she said that's not emerald tower fault that's Vacasa .. even tho emerald towers website does not say it either ! Was just overall disappointing with all the rules and poor communication!

No pantry staples ,oven doesn't go above 500f, fridge doesn't shut all the way ,utensils and kitchen wear very old and cheap and dirty dishes , made from 1980s , toiletry items and are the cheapest things you can imagine, burners have 2 speeds non existent and inferno, doors are hard to close , and electrical boxes open , dirty sheets and not clean in general ,unit 1302.

No drink allowed within 4' of the pool. I understand you don't want things spilled and throwing off the balance of the water. But Coming mid week and during the off season, if I want to drink a beer on the side of the pool and relax,I should be able to for the price per night to rent a room. Also, there is construction taking place we were not told about. Being woken up at 8am to a chainsaw running feet from your window (first floor) is ridiculous. And not being able to sit on our balcony is frustrating. Plus they blew all the dirt on our balcony and in the pool while we were swimming. Lastly, no private chairs or umbrellas allowed on the condo's area of the beach. Not even behind everyone else. Its a shame because our room was nice. But the management and policies are simply not worth it.

Stayed in Unit 305 for $1600 total for 4 nights. The condo itself was cute/charming, but the owners only provide 1 roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels and 2 trash bags. I've never paid that much for a place that didn't provide more. As for the property itself, absolute great location to the beach and you can easily rent chairs and umbrellas. The pool situation is another review on it's own. To pay that much for a condo and to not be able to responsibly drink (no glass, covered cups, etc) while you are in the pool is ridiculous. We were rudely informed by a snotty security guard that there that no drinking in the pool at all. Kids could run, scream, etc at all hours of the night though and they did unattended. We will spend that kind of $ elsewhere next time.

First let me say that the unit was just fine; a few minor problems like the remote controls didn't work for the televisions, a closet door was off the track, and such, that did not negatively impact the stay. It may be great for some. But now let me move on to why I am only giving this place two stars. The beach here in central downtown Destin has been completely taken over by umbrella contractors who are also making all of the rules. They are in some sort of relationship with the properties such that freedom to use the beach has been taken away. I've been staying in Destin for many decades but things have changed. Now, before dawn, the contractors are placing umbrellas and chairs in the surf in the tidal zone (that is, public property) which I guess they have the right to do since it's public property but they're actually blocking ability to even walk up-and-down the beach, much less to put a private umbrella out. They also have property rules that prohibit use of private umbrellas anywhere on the beach so that a monopoly is established unbreakably. (Unless you want to fry in the continuous sun). This ends up being many many empty umbrellas and chairs blocking all view of the sea and you are not allowed to transgress on this monopoly. There is of course no competition since each contractor has staked out his turf with "no trespassing" signs. This covers the entire beach now in blatant disregard for the Constitutional right of the public to beach access. Florida law seems to be in turmoil about this right now in a dispute over what they call Customary use. Neighboring Walton County tried to do something about this but was slapped back by the state government. So for now be forewarned. You need from make some kind of arrangements for using the beach with the beach contractors before you consider this place, or simply go somewhere else.
