The food is cooked quickly and to perfection, and the staff is exceptional, with one employee in particular, Chef Way, known for his outstanding service. The restaurant provides a wide range of dishes, including eggs, toast, bacon, ham, grits, hash browns, and waffles, all of which are prepared with care.
The Waffle House location at 1067 E Hwy 98 in Destin, Florida, is a popular spot, even during challenging times. During a recent winter storm, they were the only place open, and despite a skeleton crew, they provided excellent service. The volunteer representative from Waffle House Construction was very knowledgeable about the restaurant's operations across the country and shared insights about how the Waffle Houses are built.
Customers continue to keep the Christmas morning tradition at this Waffle House location, and even late-night travelers have found it to be a great start to their day, with amazing service and surprisingly good food.
