It use to be a lot of fun to spend time watching the boats and dining,shopping or listening to music at restaurants/clubs, until they overbuilt it, with large hotel and added over priced parking, fees etc. It took away the original charm that made it so enjoyable.
Definitely worth checking out. Lots of cute stores and activities. There are always several food trucks to eat from if you're trying to avoid a busy restaurant. Note that you do have to pay to park.
Always a fun places to visit. My caution/advice: I would not allow teens to walk around unsupervised. I have teenage daughters and seems like there are a lot of single older men hanging around watching.
