Best food I had while in Destin!
We've been coming to Destin for the last 5 years. Every year, Harry T's had been the highlight of the trip. This year we were so disappointed. We ordered- and all of the food came a few minutes later. The salads, the appetizers, and our dinner. We told the waitress and she rolled her eyes? I also ordered the same appetizer I have for years, the tuna. It was so dry with zero sauce or flavoring. The fish was super bland and the grits were so cold, as if it had been chilled. Harry T's Lighthouse is a fantastic restaurant to visit. The food, drinks, and service are always great, whether sitting inside or out on the deck watching the boats. The waitstaff provides exceptional service and recommendations. The kids loved the popcorn shrimp, while the adults enjoyed dishes like flounder and crab, steak with brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, and gouda grits. The snow crab, cheesy grits, and roasted Brussel sprouts were all delicious, with a delightful bloody mary to accompany the meal. Loved the basket options, and the fresh seafood is great! The crab soup, hush puppies, and filet mignon are personal favorites. The Caesar Salad was good, and the food arrives quickly. Harry T's offered a fun ambiance with breathtaking views and a lively atmosphere, complemented by an impressive selection of beers. The staff exhibited exceptional friendliness and professionalism. The blackened Grouper sandwich is a must-try.
