La Famiglia italian restaurant

Meatballs were so small and tasted like sams frozen meatballs. Portion was kiddie size . If my husband would have been with us he would had sent it back. Bread and oil was pieces of white toast cut in half . . I never post bad reviews but it was ridiculous. We ate there last year and was so disappointed tonight. Feel like ownership had to have changed. Over 80 bill we only had water to drink no alcohol . Super Understaffed this evening.

My roommate and I were on vacation and hey there first of all we waited 15 minutes for a server then she ordered something with fettuccine they didn't have fettuccine noodles so they wanted to upcharge her $5 for a noodle replacement then it took 30 minutes to get the food and I got a salad and it was gross I would never go back there again

First time eating here and was not disappointed. The staff is friendly and the food is authentic. I ordered a calzone, my the seafood special with handmade noodles. Both meals were excellent, the past had just the right amount of sauce and was not swimming in it. The calzone bread was made fresh and tasted like it was cooked in a wood fired oven. We were both to full for dessert which was offered and looked amazing. We will definitely return for dinner again.

La Famiglia is hands down the best Italian restaurant in Destin! The food is absolutely incredible—authentic, flavorful, and made with love. They have a fantastic variety of options, so there’s something for everyone, whether you’re craving classic pasta dishes, fresh seafood, or delicious homemade desserts.

The service is top-notch, and the family who owns the restaurant truly makes you feel like part of their own. They are so warm, welcoming, and passionate about what they do, and it shows in every dish.

This place is great. Food was excellent! The special, lamb with Gorgonzola, truffle pasta was amazing. Our server , Cody, was fun, friendly and very attentive-will ask for him again!. The owner even stopped by twice and talked to us. Definitely will return!

We took our mom's around Christmas and had the best service and food. We went last night for Valentine's Day and we were happy to have the same server! He's funny and very helpful. They even had a crooner singing for "Fridays with Frank" which was an awesome addition to our impromptu night in Destin. Thank you for a lovely evening!

We are locals and we love spending date nights at La Famiglia, mostly on Friday nights (to enjoy live music as we dine) The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food is made with love and it shows! We usually ask for the homemade pasta and it NEVER disappoints! Francesca her family and staff have done a beautiful job and we highly recommend checking them out if you haven’t already!

I just went in to pick up food last for a delivery.. I’ve never felt a sense of uncomfortableness as I did when I walked in that place.. The front lady basically ignored me and rolled her eyes. The guy with the hearts around his neck literally walked right in front of me, bumping me, without a excuse me.. Love good authentic italian BUT I’ll rather go to Olive Garden where they’re accepting

If you love Italian food. I highly recommend La Famiglia. All their dishes are made fresh daily. They make all their sauces for all dishes from scratch. If you want fresh made pasta, it is also available with any dish. So many different choices for good Italian wines. The owners are all from Italy and have been in business here since 2009.
