Nasty, don't waste your money! Response to owner: Hello, I’m responding to your reply to my review. The comment about reviewing my public profile and suggesting dissatisfaction is a “common theme” was unnecessary and unprofessional. My review was based solely on my experience at your establishment, not my history elsewhere.
When I realized there was an issue with the product, I was already driving away and did not feel it was worth returning. Based on that experience, I chose not to come back. I did not ask for a refund or for the issue to be corrected, I simply shared my opinion.
The statement that your “hands were tied” also felt misplaced, as I never claimed your staff was unable to fix the issue. Google reviews exist to allow customers to share honest feedback, whether positive or negative, and this review reflects mine. I will not be returning.
Response to owner 2: Thank you for the follow-up. Reviews are meant to reflect a customer’s personal experience, which is exactly what mine does. I’m not obligated to remain on-site or return to a business to validate my opinion, nor is that a requirement for leaving an honest review.
Commenting on my public profile rather than addressing the substance of my experience is what I found unprofessional. Feedback that is positive or negative should be used for improvement, not deflection.
I stand by my review and consider the matter closed. I agree that we’ve reached a resolution that works for everyone. I will not be returning or spending my money at your establishment again due to the quality of your products and the unprofessional, rude response to my feedback.
Response to owner 3: After reading additional reviews from other dissatisfied customers, I find it concerning how differently those individuals were addressed compared to the response I received. This inconsistency further reinforces my impression of unprofessionalism.
For example, your response to Jon was notably different in tone and accountability. Based on both that response and my personal experience at your establishment, I perceived what appeared to be unequal treatment, which raised concerns for me.
I hope you take the opportunity to reflect on this feedback and strive to treat all customers equally and with respect.

I was excited to try this dessert shop because the menu items looked wonderful, but the experience was disappointing. When I ordered, the lady assisting me was unfriendly and lacked proper customer service. I also found it strange that she didn’t offer the smallest size, so I ended up ordering the next size up. The concrete wasn’t horrible, but it was very grainy and lacked flavor. Despite the dessert being underwhelming, the lack of customer service was the most disappointing part. As a polite, paying customer—especially at these prices—I expected better. Destin has many other dessert options, and I would likely try those before returning.

Up there with Ted Drew's as far as their custard. Dog's are always hot and juicy. Ample add-ons. Staff are great. Lee Roy Brown /w Chocolate Custard, add Malt.

Just ok, nothing special. And quite expensive for what you get. Got a coffee crunch milkshake, it was just a vanilla ice cream with bits of candy in it. But did get lots of candy pcs in.......had to update review after response from (owner). went from 3 to 2. Fail
