I have a huge sweet tooth!! And coming from abroad I had big expectation for USA. I’ve visited 7 states so far and this is by far the best shake/custard I have had in a very long time. We visited Destin from Birmingham, AL a friend recommended this place so we had to take a look and it was incredible!!. The thick yet cookie like texture of the cookie peanut butter shake was out of this world!! My husband enjoyed the Oreo hot fudge shake even more. It’s a unique experience for a shake because you need a spoon to scoop it. The staff was very hospitable and extremely nice to my toddler. I am very sad that they don’t have a branch in Birmingham and would like to highly encourage managers to consider that!! Unfortunately we devoured it without taking a picture 😂 but thinking back it’s definitely worth a recommendation and a great review.

Lovely outside atmosphere, quick and clear service. Definitely returning.
We went there at around closing time, we went in the drive through and my son and daughter went to the window because we thought we could get it quicker however, when they had went to the window the lady said they were out of ice cream, not surprised since it was around closing time me and my wife were at the order window in the drive through and they gave us our order and didn’t mention about being out of ice cream. My wife and I are white and my son and daughter is adopted and they’re African American. I was absolutely outraged! How could they have done this? My family struggles with racism and this just absolutely crushed them after they got back in the car and had found out we had gotten ice cream and they realized what had just happened.

I appreciated the associate who took our order with a smile. The one who delivered our order had a wonderful smile as well. I was very disappointed for a traveler wanting to taste a delicious Chicago Hotdog. It was not cooked well and it had a topping that I specifically requested not to have. They were not busy so I was not sure why that happened. My receipt even had, no mustard. The drink and chips were the only enjoyable part of our meal. We spent $23.00 for two combos. I was looking forward to enjoyment and unfortunately, I was disappointed.

Excellent custard with many different options. We went 3 times in 4 days totally happy with our red velvet concrete, triple berry splits and blueberry hill.
Parking: Be careful of the sidewalk if it’s wet, we had a slip and fall that was unpleasant.
